Worst hospital I've ever been to. Literally went in for one thing, nobody took blood or urine sample. Sat there puking and feeling faint and because I was honest and said I socially smoke sometimes I was diagnosed with cannabis abuse. How about you actually check the person out for what they came in for instead of whats convenient for you.

I honestly wish I could give them zero stars. I had my daughter here 5 years ago and they have completely changed. They are nothing like they were now they just SUCK. They are full with incompetent people and schedule you appointments that are always 30 minutes behind schedule. Not only do you check in on time but even after the 30 minutes of them being behind your appointment still isn't seen until 40-50 minutes later. For someone that has to work and rescheduled there appointment they should let you know when you check in, instead they look at you check you in and wait for you to come up and complain. After I asked if they were behind the nurses and front desk staff rolled there eyes at me and didn't acknowledge me anymore. This place is a joke and they have no customer service what so ever. If I could switch hospitals I would but I'm due right around the corner.

This was the worst experience I've ever had. Waited more than 5 hours just to be seen. Rarly even got checked on, had to leave my bed just to ask why hadn't anyone came into see me. No courtesy for their patients, no customer service. The attitude of I'll get to you when I get to you. I was extremely disappointed. Yes, I do pay money for my insurance and even if I didn't no one deserves this treatment.

If you have serious medical issues, this is the hospital you want to go to. They are a teaching hospital and their interns/fellows learn from tenured doctors. The collaboration between doctors is excellent and they help each other come up with the best possible solution for your situation. I am included in the conversation as a caregiver and not talked down to I like that because those of us who are with someone terminally or chronically ill know what's going on, on a day-to-day basis and our opinion/input matters.

I am very unhappy with the inpatient process. I pay a good amount for my insurance each month, and the service I receive is sub par. I have been with this hospital for over 10 years and the changes for inpatient services are just not what they use to be. You have to pay a co-pay just for doctors to take one look at you and refer you somewhere else. They don't touch you, don't order any tests. You could save my money and give me a referral questionnaire, refer me through email, or on the phone. Once you are referred to a specialist it can take MONTHS before you are able to get in for a consultation, let alone any treatment or additional tests which take more time. Having a job and trying to take time off for all of these little visits is a nightmare, and if you have anything aggressive or life threatening , good luck trying not to die in the time that you are waiting to see a specialist. The patient care standard here is very low, especially for customers who pay insurance specifically for this hospital. I use to refer people to this hospital for their services, now I tell them to go with other options. There needs to be a board or someone on this issue quickly because it is a huge liability. If paying patients are waiting more than a month for care that is a problem. This should be a simple standard of care, and customer service .

This hospital is the worse! My mother came here because she had a fall and she was in pain. When she was brought here she was coherent and talking just fine well the next day she was found in her room unresponsive. Well it turns out that they had over medicated her with pain medication which was the reason for the unresponsiveness. They overdosed her and almost killed her. The kicker to that is that they tried to make it seem like she did it to herself. They better be lucky that they figured it out, reversed it and they finally took responsibility for it. This would have been a major lawsuit!!!! The staff can be extremely rude as well. So do yourself a favor and go somewhere else PLEASE!

Very nice hotel some staff are great but most are snotty and unethical. Been in transferred from another ER for surgery my hospital can’t perform I been sitting in here for 3 days keep getting bumped from having to get placed for my surgery procedure. Sucking th money billing my insurance. All bout making that $$$$. You call for a nurse and it takes 30 min before any one shows up to your room the longest I waited was an hour! Like your not important! 11pm IV going off cause it’s completed waking me up beeping like crazy but they don’t care cause it’s not bothering their sleep! And then they come in and look at you like your inconveniencing their life! Seeing this I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here if their life depended on it!

The reason I feel ok giving them even one star is that the procedure itself was fine. Their billing is where it all goes wrong. I had an IUD placed here(with an in network provider) a year ago. It is a procedure that is 100% covered by my insurance but I am now in collections with 2 separate bills in 2 different agencies for the same date of service. I have been fighting with them the whole time. It seems that the coding is why it isn't covered but you can't speak directly to coding. I recently called the doctor's office manager. She told me that she found something off in the notes and she would try to get everything figured out for me. Yesterday one of the collections companies called and told me that they had now doubled the bill. No one can explain why this is all happening and how it is legal and/or ethical.

It seems that they are hoping that I'll just give up and pay it. That won't be happening.

I came here to have my baby & the nurses & doctors were sooo sweet & caring, they took care of me & my family the entire time I was in labor, they made sure to call me by my name & I was introduced to every nurse & doctor personally. They made sure anything I needed I got, they made sure I ate & talked me through everything they were gonna do to me before they did it. I really appreciate the nurses & doctors for everything & I had a smooth & painless delivery 😘

I made a trip to the ER and was in and out in 1.5 hours! Quickest ER visit ever. Nurse Dawn was super sweet, Brian the Tech was very nice. Even though it was a quick visit i didn't feel like they were just rushing me in and out. I will be sure to come here for any emergency care needed in the future.

I am sad to say as this place has grown its care has declined. The nursing staff is fortunately still exceptional but even with that 10 star rating the rest of hospital can't be " pulled" up in ratings.
I have been in here at least twice a year in the last 6 years with one 4 week stay in 2016 and a 5 week stay in 2017.
IF you can get to an actual doctor instead of a resident to express any concerns or ask as general questions while in hospital the time they spend & attentiveness is almost nonexistent.
I will say that some of the residents will put in the effort but even that has declined drastically since last year.
Here is a great example: I fell while walking around hospital with a walker they supplied as what I thought was my balance not being up to par after back surgery ( turned out to be problems with my leg) I had told several nurses in a two day period. None seemed concerned since I told them nothing hurt worse or differently.
I then made the mistake of telling a rather nasty floor nurse about it. I went outside for hour, came back back to an " ambush" by neurosurgical resident ( whom I had been asking to see for several days but never saw) telling me I would no longer be able to go outside even though the reason I feel was walker getting caught on entry rug that should be inset into tile to prevent falls.
I had been there for over a month being able to go outside was only thing that " saved" my sanity.
He didn't even ask if I was alright, order an ex ray to make sure fall had not affected back. Oh no BIG concern was wether I would sue hospital and I was only allowed to continue walking around AFTER said resident put an " against doctors recommendation" clause in my chart! Which aside from being pretty cold blooded considering he never made ANY attempt to check for any affect on surgery not to mention if I had been set to sue I still could because " clause " was added the day AFTER event.
I find this to be the ALTIMENT example of what is more important, patient/ protection or protection for ONLY the hospital, doctors, residents , nurses, etc involved in my care.
Don't feel very confident knowing the care of all entities won out over my CARE!

This is the only hospital that was able to successfully heal my medical condition. I really like the fact that my doctor facilitated with me the type of surgery that I needed, she went over all options, with the pros and cons, and then let me choose what route I wanted to go. There is a reason why this hospital is one of the top 10 medical schools in the nation.

I also hope I could rate 0 or negative any numbers!!!This UCHealth is all over denver metro area now, but be aware of it! Overcharged and act like scam! I was told that supervisors would call me back but never ever did. The only thing good about this place is just they could send the way overcharged bill to the collection company right away without you even could know that. I never ever had this kind of situation with any previous medical bills. Just stay away from UCHealth! Also they never ever would be willing to send you the details about charges although they said they will but never ever! Truly indeed scam! The nothing special eye visit costs over $1300, that is incredible compared to our previous eye doctor visits!! Sadly, UCHealth now everywhere when I driving!
Update July3 2017: I cannot remember how many times I contact this clinic where Doctor Marc Mathias is working since this Feb., I was told hold on hold on, I will try to find someone to talk to you then disappear again and again!! What we want is just the details about the charge!! which is the legal right for patient to know! But this clinic has been rejecting to give us this information. Pls just give the details and reasons for the overcharge!

wow, today, after several times "hold on hold on, transfer you to the supervisor" then to long waiting from nowhere, finally finally someone answered the phone!! I requested to mail the details but let's see what they would mail!! Stay away from UCHealth! Finally this lady said I should not contact the clinic, they don't handle the bills. But I called this Feb., especially over these two past weeks, I was told over and over again that supervisor would call me, either done the meeting, or super busy, or whatever!

The nurses, aides, room service staff are the absolute greatest people I have met in my life. Their compassion and care are over the high level I know all people in these professions display everyday. We are blessed to have them care for our loved one as well as our family.

Would rate 0 if I could. Brought my son in for difficulty breathing. Waited a bit and asked when we would be seen. Was told by Brandon "ma'am he's obviously breathing, I promise he won't perish in here" Are you kidding me?? Not a time to be a smartass. Next I step outside and on my way back in the Allied security guy had to be a jerk after i go through his security again with a visitors badge on then proceeded to stare me down while I sat in the waiting room. Why?? Why would a hospital emergency room treat people this way when they are already under enough stress?? Absolutely ridiculous. We were in no way a threat to anyone, I just wanted my son taken care of.
