Pros: Location is great, easy access to the airport via bus or any other hotels via the free trolley. We were able to check in early around 1pm. Lobby has been remodeled nicely.
Cons: I should have read the reviews before booking that the pool was more of a bomb crater because of construction. It would have been nice to find out these kind of things during booking. Like the daily charge for the safety box use it or not. Rooms are way too outdated as previous reviewers stated, although some lamps have charging ports which nice. Walls are super thin, we easily figured out that our neighbours were German, and they were not yelling just having a normal conversation. We found out that the insulation around the window is even thinner, when we woke up to water dripping noise in the middle of the night when a storm was passing through. The carpet was soaked around the AC unit, very comforting feeling to know that there is water around electricity. Put a towel in the window sill, it was soak and wet by the morning. Even hours after the storm water was still coming down in streaks as you can see from the picture. We believe it that this is a known fact by staff, cause we got no apology from anybody when we switched rooms. New room had a moldy smell, with a very small puddle by the window. We took the new room since our expectations were greatly lowered from the night before.
So I guess one just have to check the weather forecast before booking, cause when it rains it pours. inside the room.response / report this review -

Huh.. I wish I could have read the reviews before booking this hotel. Worst experience ever. They are bluffing with the photos. We booked Ocean view room and gave us something different and they says it is Ocean view room. I strongly recommend not to book this Hotel. Rooms are dull, bathrooms are dirty. Window curtains smells bad.

Lobby lovely unfortunately the rooms upstairs need Renovating asap. Location great but that's it. Also no pool! Wouldn't stay here again.

No microwave, refrigerator, in the room. Has a nice view. Currently the pool is out of service. The building itself is an old building they're doing their best to keep it up to shape all the vending machines are owned by the hotel but most of the sodas in the machine run out pretty quick and the machine guns to take your money when it doesn't have certain selections. Staff here is pretty friendly

The best in this hotel is the location, because is middle way to almost of almost all touristic points. An old-fashioned hotel and installation, small bathrooms, no refrigerator in room. Nice view and near to beach. Pool was not available during my stay because of the hurricane damages, but they provided access to a neighbour's hotel pool. Not necessarily extra tips for cleaning up rooms. Parking in front, paid by diary. Large and comfy beds.

Lobby and pool fantastic but it stops there. Rooms are shocking. Managers office looks amazing all nice and clean. Stayed for 2 nights first room they put us in was unreal dirty rust around bath will post photos. Asked for change changed room they did not even know we were in the room over heard cleaners ask why room a number we were in was occupied cleaner's arrived both mornings at 9 said same thing we did not know anyone was in here. But we never got any cleaning towels were not changed. Staff unfriendly receptionist were in room at back every time you went over one time I was at desk waiting the phone' rang she answered it and had a 10 minutes chat with her buddy on the phone while I stood there. Bar downstairs girl behind bar was to busy sitting chatting with her buddy's no chat at all put my drink on bar and straight back over outside bar sat up and talked to them while they sat Smoking even though there was a man at bar eating food I have since been told this is against the law ?? Shocking place would not recommend this place to anyone.

The reason they even got a star was because of Vanessa at desk service was very nice pleasant and helpful she made sure that we were comfortable she even offered to upgrade our room because they had my family and I in a handicap room and also Cassandra the bar tender was amazing as well other then that the hotel sucks the elevator was broken the food is disgusting we had to call for towels and wash clothes and waited for those for 24hrs the hot water was cold it was just awful I would not recommend this ratchet hotel to my worse enemy thumbs down for sure. Oh not to mention house keeping had nasty attitudes bathtub was molded upon arrival they had a bucket in the middle of the floor because water was leaking from the ceiling the restaurant/bar look like it's in a dungeon just sad and disgusting I wouldn't stay there again if they let me stay for free.

Worst hotel ive ever stayed at. There was no water supply and the pool was closed. The bar was closed as well, and they dont have a parking lot so you have to park in a garage thats over priced. Not worth it

Doesn't even deserve 1/2 a star.. pathetic rooms.. bed bugs .. cockroach friendly and not customer friendly.. front desk assistance is bad..

I must admit that I was hesitate about staying at the Lexington Hotel after seeing their reviews. However, I still decided to take a risk by booking a room there. I am really proud to say that I ENJOYED my stay:).. Staff members were very generous, particularly the front desk agent, Ms. Ana. Ana was very polite and she tried her best to make me feel welcome. She turned my perception of possibly having a bad experience into a fantastic experience. Will be visiting soon :)..

Awful Awful experience! The pictures of the hotel rooms where not accurate. The hotel staff was not pleasant at all. I had to ask that my room be cleaned everyday within the four days of my stay. There was a strong consistent smell of weed within the entire floor I stay on. After several complaints nothing was never done. Just overall not a good experience, not a good hotel.

Bugs, unfriendly front desk, no cleanliness, over all Terrible experience! We weren't expecting much but my boyfriend and I (23&22 years old) thought this place would be a good hotel for our short stay in Miami due to the ocean view and cheap price. We booked an ocean view room months beforehand. When we got there they told us that the room we had booked was taken, so they offered us a free upgrade to a room with ocean view + balcony, so we thought no brainer. Everything was fine up until later that night I had noticed there were ants/bed bugs all over the corners of the wall, so we call the front desk they say they'll send someone up. It takes us two calls and a trip down to the main lobby to finally get a cleaning lady to come to our room. Cleaning lady was unfriendly, laughing at one point about the situation and barely did anything. Also, a ton of sketchy people all over the hotel, disgusting bar By the pool. We were up the next morning and checked out two days early because of our experience. They did refund us for the two nights we didn't stay there and for parking. Let's just say we figured out why our room was taken and that "upgrade" was available
