LOL even though I didn't even attend the school yet, I went to lots of field trips at THS. It was awesome and cool! And I see lots of awesome classes! So for now, I'll give this a 4 star until I attend and change my mind. ;)

The staff is stupid! The school is disorganized. They mess up your schedule and they won't fix it until 2 weeks later but they are the ones the messed up the schedule. They have no idea what they are doing. Oh yeah THE STAFF ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!!!! I can't explain that enough.they are just stupid. If I had to choose a high school all over again it wouldn't be tucson high.

Tucson High is a great school. There is a wide array of AP and Honors classes, and many of the NON-honors and AP classes are extremely rigorous as well. Beyond the required courses, there are also many electives, and a full group of truly excellent teachers. It is large, but there are many clubs that your student can get involved in (this helps to make it less daunting) and an active PTA that you, as a parent, can be involved in (this helps to show you the ropes of being part of such a large school). We get a number of transfers from other TUSD schools that are more of a pressure cooker, and a number of students who qualify for those other schools who choose THMS because of its great diversity of students and school community. Can't beat THMS!

CTE classes galore, vocational education, historic campus and great athletic facilities. When it comes to public schools you can't get any better in southern Arizona.

In terms of academics, this public high school may not be the best, or even good in any ways. However, its extracurricular facilities will definitely compensate for the mentioned drawbacks, and if you are willing to get a 4.0 without any effort whatsoever, this is the perfect school for you! I recommend taking a more challenging school, since being lazy at such a crucial point in life will negatively affect the rest of your life.
