The service was not up to par by any means. We, a family of 4 were assigned a room with beds that were "queen". (Quotations because they were obviously full beds). The furniture in the room was clearly years old and was very worn. When we arrived, the toilet didn't flush. There was a large gap in the window that could not be closed. Almost all of the other rooms were vacant and seemingly much nicer than ours, but the staff available would not let us switch. The hotel's office hours were not correct as we arrived at 6pm to no staff member at the desk. One of my cousin's rooms was also very bad, as when they walked in the first time they found that the gas stove was on and making the whole room smell of gas. Not every room has a kitchen as Google says. The website describes a very different hotel than the actual physical place. We are very very disappointed in our experience.

It's certainly old and needs some work, but the staff was nice enough to let us check in early, and they at least did basic cleaning every day. Rooms are small and the beds are uncomfortable, but for the price, and location, it was worth it.

Just got a phone call from a friend who never spent a night at this place but was charged for an entire stay. THIS IS ILLEGAL AND UNACCEPTABLE. If this has happened to you, don't agitate, LITIGATE. Be on the look out for notices of a class action. Yes, we are going to shut this place down.

This was probably the worst place I've ever stayed. It took us 3 hours to check in because the management was not accepting us and could not find our reservation. 3 HOURS!!! They were very rude and I would hope to never be treated how they treated us again. They threatened to kick us out if we did not sign a form that was not present at the time of check in which is absolutely ridiculous. Since it is a very cheap resort, you get what you pay for. It's close to the beach which is nice. However, if you can afford to stay elsewhere, I would. I will never be returning to tropi rock even if I am on a tight budget.

Enjoyed my stay here. Our room had 1 king size bed with a very spacious living room and kitchen. Parking is tight. Didn't have much interaction with staff but check in was easy.

Dangerous Hotel!!!!, We booked this hotel for a week we only stayed one night, the place is a dumb, they put is in the 3rd floor no elevator, the room was old and worn the door was rotten and ready to fall off the wifi and AC did not work.
After the staff left there was a roudy crowd on the first floor drinking and cursing loud all night, I was afraid to go to my room after dinner, they kept the whole hotel up all night, I called the office and the message machine was full, we fear for our life this crowd looked like gangsters.
At 3:00 am I was up still from the noise, I looked out from the 3 Rd fllorand one of them took off one of the golf cart, and came back , than I realized this we're hotel employees, the next morning I went to the office as soon as possible and there were 10 guest complaining and checking out, worst experience ever and the had the nerve to charge for the night and parking.
The reviews on the web site are fake. This place is run down and dangerous

Right near the beach. The room I had was clean, and was cleaned. Also you can use the swimming pools of other hotels they are affiliated with. The price is great compared to some the other places.

Needs a renovation, expect the tourist trap high prices. Atmosphere was okay at best. Bartenders were decent.

This hotel is located on fort Lauderdale Beach. Horrible!! Bathroom floor was dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, they had to get extra towels from another hotel, the toaster was dirty, spiders on the wall and bugs coming through the window.

We went there for a training trip for swimming. The resort staff was very polite. You needed to put a card on your bed if you wanted the sheets cleaned though which was new to me. They cleaned the dishes and cleaned the sand of the floor most of the time.

This place is overpriced especially with how old it is. This place is in dire need of a renovation. Our shower handle for the hot water kept falling off, and the bathroom looked like it was still living in the 60's. The pool was not kept up, and seemed kind of sketchy with caution tape floating in the water. Like I said, Overpriced!
