The room served it's purpose. It was clean, comfortable, and relatively inexpensive. Would recommend.

Great for the price. The outside of the hotel seemed a little intimidating but the inside of the room was very nice. Very comfortable bed and spacious sink area. I love a cold room when I sleep and I must say that the room was very cool. It also does not hurt to be directly behind a Wendy's when hunger stikes.

Stayed at LA Quinta Deerfield for one night , very pleasant stay. Being my birthday was sunday,19th, we went down Saturday to go to casino. Had a pleasant and happy time.

Stay far away from this place, especially if you have children with you. We booked this hotel for one night before our move to a new home. When we get there, we notice two guys just walking around like they have no place to go. Then we get to our room, and there is some guy sitting on the floor blocking our door. Obviously, we went back to ask for another room. We get to the new room. Inside, there is an obvious, intense odor of paint. When we go into the bathroom, we see the issue. Someone had vandalized the room and spray painted the bath tub with orange spray paint. And it was fresh, probably from that day. We took our kids back into the car and got out of there fast. In hindsight, the guys lingering about were probably dealers, pimps, or both. This is NOT a fake review. Please, stay away from this dump.

Last night, I decided we would have a
Night away from the construction at our house. My partner and I decided to stay at the La Quinta in Deerfield. It's down the room and the price was convincing.
BEWARE
I noticed that cars would drive around in circles and I thought it was strange. I called the office. Well, after dinner it got dark out, i was heading out of my room (227) to smoke a cigarette. A strange man was standing in front of our door! He walked in my room! He asked me if I
Liked to party? and if he could stay there! He laid on the bed. My partner was terrified. I told him to get out. He cursed and argued but eventually walked out. However, he spent 3
Hours pacing outside my room and below my room! Bizarre and
Scary behavior. We had enough of this by 9pm and we drove all the way home. The man was still there talking to a man driving in circles around the parking lot. I don't care about the money. We felt so unsafe. They still charged us. That takes so guts.
I called the office and spoke to Chris several times. He sent security over at one point who sat on the step and played on his phone.

We chose this place based on location, but also, pets are welcome here for no extra charge. Nice room, but a few tiny roaches and broken drawer.. Clean, with friendly staff also. Cleaned everyday. Nice pool. Not the best neighborhood though, stay to yourself after 9pm. The free breakfast is good.

The hotel lobby women are loud and argyed while I was checking in. Rooms are clean and they come in every day to clean it. Breakfast is decent and they have an elevator for the different floors. They also allow for pets at no charge which is why we chose them. Pretty good. No complaints so far.

******edit****** well we ended up deciding to stay one extra night even with everything going on. Well this time my husband was surrounded by guys hounding him about parting and what he's into. Maybe they saw all his tattoos and assumed he used drugs. Not really sure. But they wouldn't leave him alone!! Following him to our room and begging him to see what they had. He walked in and said that he's had it. We packed up all of ours and the kids things and ran from that hotel at 11pm. We didn't feel safe staying one more night*******
I can't say that this place is 5 star and we came in knowing this. It's a little run down on the outside but the rooms are nice and clean. They are cleaned daily as well. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room is spacious for my whole family. We have a 4 year old and 16 month old twins who each have their own portable crib. Even with everything set up and the two double beds we still have plenty of room to play and move around. They also have microwaves and refrigerators in our room at least.
The breakfast in the morning is pretty good as well. Waffles, toast, egg sandwiches, hard-boiled eggs, muffins, yogert, bananas, oranges, oatmeal and things like that as well as juices, coffee and milk to drink or for cereals.
The ONLY negative that we have experienced is my husband constantly being approached while alone at the car asking if "he likes to party" and this was more then once. They were screaming from the balconies while he was on the phone and when he didn't answer they walked down to him and continued to get him to answer when they saw he was busy. We're assuming they are trying to sell drugs. That's all we can come up with. We have let the front staff know about this but nothing has been done. We leave tomorrow so I'm very happy for that.response / report this review -

Good hotel. Clean rooms and surrounding areas. Front desk girl was very nice. We got a room on the Third floor by elevator. The room we got was a big room and overall clean but i did notice a few flaws. I feel like they dont vacuum the carpets. I pass by a room service lady almost everyday cleaning different rooms. Never hear vacuum and noticed the carpet in between the beds. Was dirty and had some tiny black rock type thing. Lets hope its a rock. Our toilet in our room flushed really slow and worried that we always clogged it. We did not. Bathroom was really clean however. Thank you room service.

Skip this place. We booked our room at least a week ahead. Due to a weather delayed plane flight from NJ (that we made the front desk aware of ahead of time) our king bed and non- smoking room reservation was given away and we ended up in another room when we arrived at 3am.
Upon entering the room, there was a strong smell of mildew especially strong in the closet.
The room was nothing like what we expected. Disappointed. The next morning we were charged more than the original price, and told we were lucky to have a room at all. There is NO excuse for a room being musty and not at all inviting , nor the staff being somewhat unapologetic toward a customer, us, who had expected the reservation that they booked and did not recieve it.
