Great place for a pre-show dinner. Always been pleased with both the quality of the food and the service.
Most notably, they source all their meats and produce. The menu says specifically where they come from. Everything was pretty tasty. Tried the gnocchi, prawn, and steak salad. Nothing that would blow your mind but super good for an office lunch.
Cannot say enough good things about this evening's experience. The spicy ravioli and the the black pepper fettuccini with lamb sausage was fantastic! The service was one of the best in Chicago, ask for Jan and he will make sure you have a wonderful meal and experience!
Meh. I was surprised since I was ready to really like this restaurant. Just found most dishes (tasted several pasta dishes) somewhat less interesting than I had expected. Good service, nice atmosphere.
Had a great experience here, our waitress was friendly, attentive and very patient (we had a fussy 10yo along who changed his mind a couple times) and the food was excellent. Would recommend the ravioli (fillings seasonal), I had the pork belly and my wife the mushroom, both were delicious. Tiramisu was bang on. It's not cheap but you "get what you pay for"
Very fine dining, antibiotic and hormone free Organic Delicious food. Great for a quiet dinner experience.
We were in Chicago for a week. Best meal we had all week. The scallop dish was beyond excellent.
Excellent, handmade pasta in an intimate setting. Fantastic wine list. Menu is on the pricy side, but you are paying for quality - and you can tell.
Well made and service was excellent! Loved our waitress! Food was phenomenal
The staff was very welcoming and our server, Steven, was great. He was informative, relaxed and definitely added to our experience. The metro was behind schedule so I called Trattoria No. 10 to see if there was anyway they could hold our table for 20 more minutes and they said that was absolutely fine. Great place for homemade Italian food, and it is frequented by theater-goers, so they understand if you have a time crunch.
Food was imaginative, complex and delicious. The atmosphere elegant and understated. Our server was friendly, however his commentary on the courses was so fast and hard to hear that we missed much of what was really in them. No bread was offered during the meal.
Tattoria No. 10 is wonderful! I took my mother there before the theater and it was a great experience. We both indulge in fine dining from time to time and this has definitely gone on our list of places we HAVE to visit again. The waitstaff was helpful with their suggestions and the food was out of this world. Highly recommend the ravioli!!
I had been there several years ago and had very fond memories of the place. The food was excellent, especially the ravioli, but nothing that knocks your socks off. What was really amazing was the bourbon cocktail I had with delicious coffee and chocolate flavors. The service was a bit on the slow side initially in getting us seated and taking orders, but then it picked up. A good Italian option in the loop.
Visited for lunch yesterday. Was impressed by the very nice and relaxing atmosphere. I ordered from the restaurant week 3 course menu. Each dish was phenomenal. In fact, the experience was so good I went back today. Highly recommended.
I don't often partake in finer dining, so maybe that's the reason I was blown away. Regardless, the food was great and the waitstaff were friendly, helpful, and personable. The veal and the quail were very good, as was the squid ink pasta and the ravioli. The atmosphere is somewhat unique and worked well for a date with a special someone.
