Every employee I have encountered is friendly and professional. Never wait long for help if needed. The staff is awesome. Every employee greets you as you walk in. I love the fact that not one employee is on a cell phone. I recommend this casino to everyone.

The casino is great, the buffet is mediocre. Great staff but some of the food like Mac and Cheese tastes like it's straight out of a box. The Prime Rib was good just had a lot of fat, a part from that (and the road in and out be confusing specially in the darkness of night) I love Ameristar. The Bugatti restaurant is a must, best bread before the meal!

Always have a great stay here. The bathroom with the separate water closet and jacuzzi style soaking tub are two of my favorite amenities, and their toiletries are always likeable. The staff is always polite and accommodating -- always enjoyable. If there was a microwave in each room I'd easily give this place 4 -5 stars.

Nice stay. Spacious rooms. Luxurious accommodation. 4 star rating because they have a weird policy of not allowing children and under 18 even to the hotel premises. High security inside casino. Very intimidating sometimes.

I've stayed at the Ameristar before, but during this instance, I was at the seafood buffet. For those who love crab legs, going to this is great. The crab legs are high quality and for the most part, endless. For the casual seafood eater, the rest of the seafood is great. The only issue I had was the wait staff tended to forget about you once they've waited on you once or twice.

We went there for the 1st time. The staff and everyone was friendly. We only played the slots and the machines actually were paying. Parking was easy and accessible. Will definitely go again when we are in town.

I have a good Hostess and she's always johnny-on-the-spot and gives me whatever I need when I'm there. If they have more like her they're okay with me they just need to loosen the slots on and pay me some good money and they were really be my favorite and I'll be there all the time. My hostess name is Katie farmer

This casino has a great staff. They are very nice and personal. Everything is clean and you always feel safe. I gave it a three star review for the slots. We've been going here for a long time and 2017 is their tightest year for slots. Most of our friends eat here and go across the way to the other boat to play.

It's a very nice casino. The atmosphere is very friendly as well as the staff. They have a good selection of games. I haven't tried the restaurants, but they look very nice and I hope to eat there sometime. Overall, we had a great time there. I would recommend this casino.

We went to have dinner it was seafood night or maybe crab night. The service was wonderful. Most of the food was great. I guess since we didn't come in till about 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. maybe they didn't change the food often to keep the food fresh. I ate some shrimp that was extremely fishy smelling and tasting that I just do it away. The pizza was burned on the bottom and didn't taste well either. My husband at the prime rib he said that was supper. We will go back the crab legs as usual were great some of them has said in water too long because it was tough to crack them but as a whole I give them 4 stars. When we used to could afford to come eat there often everything was always up to par. Too much remodeling always raises the price. Finally my husband will come to play the casinos some but not often due to the smoke been very heavy I can't walk through the casino to get to the non smoking area. I have asthma and seizures and smoke does not mix with my body at often I like places that are nearly smoke free. This way I can sit in the hall on a bench.

We stopped into the heartland buffet for the all-you-can-eat crab dinner on Saturday night. It was a wonderful experience the crab was of a very high quality and the service was fantastic. I will definitely would be returning in the future.

First off, we are not serious gamblers. This was our second time out and first time to Ameristar. With that said, Ameristar Casino and Hotel was very enjoyable. The hotel room was very nice, and clean. It was up to date in style and furnishings. The room had a safe, larger mini fridge, single cup coffee maker, and a fabulous bathroom. The hotel is a good walk from the casino and same goes to the parking garage, but valet is free. There are multiple choices of eating venues and drinking ones, too. The buffet was impressive in both size and quality, and it cost about $35 each. The room rates are impressively low, for weekday stays!

I only went to eat to celebrate the in-laws 47th anniversary. The surroundings of the casino didn't look attractive at all. Paid for my wife and I only since my son was free. I thought it looked pretty nice on the inside for a getaway. As far as the food i thought it was pretty pricey for it's quality. Not really a gambler so with what was served I can't say for sure that I would be back in the future.

The buffet has an hour and a half time limit and will not accommodate groups larger than 8. We were seated at 3 different groupings of tables. The food was average at best. My wife and I spent $80 for the two of us. I would highly recommend treating yourselves to a nice venue in the city, or the Horseshoe buffet which will run about $25 a head. Granted, they don't have crab legsBut unless you're interested in overpaying for sub-par crab meat, not worth your money. Also, the seating area reminds me of an old country buffet Will not be returning BC of price vs. quality of food and overall experience.
