Really enjoyed my stay at TownePlace. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious and appliances were clean and functional. Would stay again!
The furnishings were outdated, or scruffy looking. But the floors in the bathroom and kitchen had spaces in between the wood flooring. It looked like years of goop stuck in it from mopping over it, and not cleaning it out properly. Blech! We stayed over office on 2 nd floor, and entire night was extremely noisy, with the stairs and the elevator. Couldn't even sleep.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Although it is definitely updated, this particular townplace suite felt small to me. I think it was the low ceilings, and, I was on first floor, overlooking parking lot. :( And, even tho I always request a high floor, checked in early and have Marriott status, if that was supposwd to have been an upgraded room that was provided i would not be happy here for more tham one quick night.
The room was clean and comfortable. The knob to turn on the shower was a bit broken and had to be fiddled with a bit in order to get the water on. Once it was on, the water pressure was great. The living area was roomy, as was the bed. And the coffee provided was decent.
It pretty nice. Good views and tucked away. My room was very small though.
Room was a small studio with full kitchen, queen bed, couch bed & bathroom with a tub. Parking was free & there was a pool. Service was excellent. Everyone was very welcoming & curtious. The complimentary continental breakfast was the best & most varied I have ever had. The hotel was easy to find & pretty close (driving distance) to various restaurants & shops. Above all the service was truly wonderful.
Perfectly adequate place to call home base while you explore all that Tucson and the surrounding area has to offer. A bit far north in location if you are visiting the university, more appropriate if you are exploring Oro Valley. Rooms are basic, and there's complimentary internet which is so-so. The free breakfast is continental. Might consider staying next door at the Hampton Inn, which has a much nicer common area and a hot breakfast, if that is important.
We stayed here for 4 days and had an excellent experience in June 2017. Great pool, excellent staff, friendly people! Appreciate Patty for doing a great job taking care of our room, she was wonderful.
Super friendly staff, extra clean and great goodies
Older hotel. Pleasant enough but definitely needs some tlc.
Great room! Spacious, clean, full service kitchen and everything you need in a home away fron home.
Standard hotel. Wanted to give a 3star review, but room smelled mildewy, the closet door was broken and bathroom plug wasn't working and after reporting it to the front desk the next morning, they still didn't fix it. I told then I'd be gone all day. Continental+ breakfast is in a VERY small room.
The staff at check-in was friendly.
The hotel is right near a Starbucks, Mexican restaurant gas station that has a Dairy Queen.
Great stay! We came into town for a wedding, the staff was super friendly and the free breakfast was good. The rooms are great, newly renovated with granite and fully stocked to handle any kind of cooking you might want to do. Pool area is nice with BBQ space, rest of property is ok, nothing special.
Just behind gas station with pizza place inside, alcohol, and a Dairy Queen. Far enough off Oracle so there is no traffic noise.
