Nice clean room. Good location next to freeway. Free breakfast is fine, but they have no eggs, hash brown & bacons.
Best thing about this place was that the Denny's was right outside our room and you can get cheap Lyft rides to 4th. Bed was uncomfortable but not the worst. And I was pretty annoyed with how early housekeeping came. We told them we were sleeping, and they literally came back 15 mins later. Also, you can hear everything from the adjacent rooms. Not gonna really be mad over all of this because of the convenience to all nearby places.
Great place clean rooms .parking.wifi,cable tv. Great people there.
Clean & comfortable. Nice breakfast. Reasonable price.
This place needs some TLC, new curtains and a pot of paint. Renovations are needed. It can be considered economy and it's ok to sleep here. Families on a budget, lots of worker crews, parking lot is full of pick up trucks, it is not horrible, but don't expect much. It's a budget hotel.
This motel will need to be updated/remodeled soon.. The room smelled a bit funky, the exterior was beat up. But the beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean enough, and it seemed well cleaned overall. Breakfast was great!! The ladies working there were all very nice. Close to the road, we could hear a bit of road noise from the room. Overall, it was a nice stay. Breakfast alone earned 5 stars!
I was looking for someone by name. First person behind the desk said she didn't t know him and that he didn't work there, the other person jumped right in to the conversation and she said she did know him. I ultimately had her sign for the package. I truely hope the package got to who it was meant for.
Never stay here if you absolutely have to dont use a credit/debit card. They double charged me and they charged my company card as well. Then they said it was my banks fault. So I paid triple for the room and have to wait 2 weeks for the dispute process to be reimbursed. The rooms are dated but clean. But beware of the financial transactions. BTW corporate Wyndam resorts cant do anything as each property in locally owned. So frustrated. Wish I could give it zero star rating.
Decent place service is great rooms nice
Super nice staff. Nice rooms. Long stay and well worth the money!!
I booked this room online a few weeks ago having read reviews that indicated the hotel was adequate. That seemed acceptable given my rather low per diem for lodging through my employer. However, I wish I'd checked reviews again as my experience mirrors exactly what a recent review suggested: The room was dirty, and mine DID have bed bugs.
To her credit, the general manager, when I reported the problem, was apologetic and comped the second night of my stay. While I appreciated that she took this action, and it benefits my employer, it really did not address my personal "discomfort" or inconvenience.
This experience followed a similar experience of a colleague at a different Ramada, this one in Phoenix. I will not be staying at Ramada properties in the future.
The rooms weren't very clean. Apparently, they have bed bugs our room was fine, though. It was okay for the few hours we spent there. Wouldn't stay again.
Checked in at the front desk with my buddy who booked this place onlinejust wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city to slow down for a day.
After exiting the freeway, we saw this beautiful, brick veneered hotel and thought "wow, that looks nice" as I heard angels singing in my ear..WHOA! stop! As if a needle is getting dragged across an LPwe realized THAT place was called the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson and as we looked slightly East realized this crap magnet was where WE were staying. Ugh.
The woman at the front desk barked orders at us demanding my buddies name and credit card, said there's free WiFi, provided the password (ha! Can't even connect), said the pool closes at 10 and said there was a free "continental breakfast" in the am. First come first served. (Luckily there's a Denny's next door).
Any way, got the room key, drove to the back parking lot, walked up the stairs past the homeless couple who were taking a break in the staircase drinking a couple 'Steel Reserves', found our room and it smelled oddnot like bugs, or meth heads cooked up their last batch here, or death or anything bad.just odd. But, the nose adjusts quickly.
Basically, crashed here at night and the beds were actually, kind of supportive and I slept all night.
My advice? Spend an extra few bucks and stay next door at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson.even better, don't ask your buddy to book a 2 star hotel online without looking at it first. ;)
