Wonderful B&B, with friendly owners ready to offer ideas of things about and to do in the area. Hiking in Topanga Park is within walking distance and is fantastic!

Fantastic stay! The inn is situated in a beautiful valley in Topanga Canyon. Our room was spacious and well appointed with amazing views. The common areas are large and well decorated. There is a spectacular deck on the top floor. Nice to have a warm breakfast. Free Wi-Fi. Great staff. A wonderful place to explore Topanga, Malibu and the western parts of Los Angeles.

The location is amazing, niched in the canyon but not that hard to access either from Malibu or from the North and you have almost directly access to a small trail in the state park and several good restaurants. The king room we had was on the smaller side but was really well setup (desk, small table, and a very large bathroom) and of course included the wifi. Regarding the great bathroom, the only comment is that ours had only a curtain, it gives charm but little privacy. The hosts were amazing and cooked for us some delicious breakfast (large table shared with other guests). Homemade pancakes, eggs, bacon, melon, and so on. Amazing. They provided all the information needed and explain how the living room kitchen sharing arrangement worked. They provide in the kitchen all you need in case you forgot something (toothbrush kit, chargers, water and so on) We had an amazing time and our only wish is that we stayed longer.

    Terrible.
The room was booked last minute as we were driving there. It was only reserved for us for 30 mins. After we decided there is no way we wanted to stay the night. There was no refund. I would of been ok with a cancellation fee. But nope they charged me over 300.00 for not even staying and for only being booked for 30 mins. Terrible customer service, causing us to end our vacation and not able to book any where else..
Do not waste your time or money. They do not care about people. Very cold creepy place..

Really beautiful location and the room was awesome! Breakfast was kinda poor, I didn't know people actually still eat waffles but the fruit was good. Service was ok, quite different!

After 10 days travelling around in our family RV, we stayed two perfect, quiet nights in Topanga Canyon Inn (april '17).
We loved the room, the living room, the possibility to make tea in the kitchen, the cookies, the (extra) service, the breakfast
This B&B is located quietly / quite high in Topanga Hills, so getting there was rather challenging for the drivers (we got some Lyft's : that worked fine there), but good to have our own rental car the second day.

Hosts-family is very friendly and correct. They like it all well organised and they join breakfast at the big table, so breakfast is at certain time and with company. Interesting conversations with hosts and other guests, we liked that very much. Breakfast was served in two shifts. Lucky to be in the first one, people after us had to wait.
Breakfast is fresh cooked and was very nice/tasty, but we would suggest some toast for those who are not really into the salty or sweet bakery of the day (just a little bit of choice).

We would certainly recommend this place and when we ever come back to this side of the world/USA, we'll be glad to return to Topanga Canyon !

Stopped by to evaluate it for a future booking. Charming facility, and it is well off the beaten path. Good views and good selection of rooms. I'll likely be making a reservation.

If you like a home-away-from-home experience with fresh prepared daily breakfast, appreciate antique craftsman furniture, original paintings and nature photography, looking to do some hiking, mountain biking and bird watching, enjoy the quiet of the country, but need to be close to Los Angeles, Santa Monica and San Fernando Valley this is the place.

My fiancée and I loved staying at this B&B (in fact, we got engaged there!). The Rhett & Scarlett room was cozy and beautifully decorated, with excellent views of the canyon. The entire experience was well put together, and you can tell that Elena and her family put a lot of work into maintaining the inn.

We didn't have a problem with parking, but the inn was not very crowded the night we stayed. I can imagine it might get a little challenging if a larger number of people are staying there.

In any case, we very much enjoyed talking to the family and other guests over a wonderful breakfast, and will more than likely be back for another stay sometime in the future.

I was on a business trip in the Woodland Hills, CA during the first week of Dec 2015. I was looking for a place to stay as all the hotels were booked and came across the Topanga Canyon Inn. I loved the location, hosts and price. Even my co-worker checked out of his hotel and stayed here.

The hosts were very nice and accommodating. They cook breakfast every morning and we asked them to cook at 8am instead of 9am, they happily accommodated us.

By the way, ask for stuffed blue berry French Toast when you visit there.

I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is visiting this area.
