OMG! I love Mexican food but this is far beyond anything you could imagine. The best (and I mean it), literally the best Mexican food I ever had in my life (lived in California and been to Mexico before). There was a long wait, but had some great cocktails and the food was absolutely worth the wait.

Went for lunch and enjoyed my Veg Tamale platter. The corn flavor came through vividly and the texture overall was quite good. Glad I was able to get the red & green chile sauce on the side because if it was smothered in either one, the dish could have been awful and so spicy that all the delicious flavors would have been lost too. If you are looking for a meal so filling that you won't need dinner, this is the dish for you. Between the rice, beans, cheese, corn it's a filler-up for sure. Loved the fried bread that is delivered hot and tasty accompanied with honey butter, which was like our dessert. Scrumptious and decadent. This place is always crowded so be ready for the wait.

Amazing food service is great. Punctual staff. The food is excellent and the place is clean. It's loud but in a good way. Live music and a great atmosphere. Only complaint is bathroom stalls too uncomfortably small. Had to tiptoe next to toilet to close the door.

This is a great restaurant in a quaint brick building by the railroad tracks. The food is good but it is a very popular place for tourist and extremely crowded. They do vary good job of moving tables and getting people in and out, so our wait wasn't too long. We just had to walk sideways most times to get through the groups or stop and let others pass.
Staff was friendly and food was good. Tomasita's is a nice place, but too crowded for my taste.

We were waiting an hour and 20 minutes to be seated. No explanation as to why even when we kept checking to see how much longer it would be. Finally they said they can only seat big parties in certain parts of the restaurant so that's why there was such a long wait, but this is something that should have been disclosed at the time we checked in so we could have made a decision if we wanted to wait or not.
Other places have just as good or better food, with better service and communication. Go to Maria's, Tortilla Flats, Cafe Castro, etc.

This place has great enchiladas! Ample parking, great service, great prices! They took away the shrimp tacos. But the rest of the menu is good, classic New Mexican comfort food.

The service is excellent and the food is good Northern New Mexican. I do feel that there is an immense amount of hype that is not justified for this place however. This is in no way the fault of the establishment. You could easily get just as excellent food and drinks in other parts of town without the insanely massive wait times if you are super hungry and don't have reservations.

I am a Veteran who fought in Afghanistan. While I was in when I came home Sadie's was on my mind. Since 2012 the place is just awful. Family is more concerned about money. I got out in 2015 and I have never ate New Mexican style food. Until I came here today. The food is surperb everything is full of flavor. The waitstaff needs improvement, but I want to drive up there once a week just eat there. For those of you that have family out of state. They want authentic New Mexican style food this is the place. Truly remarkable!!!

This is the best place in Santa Fe for authentic New Mexican cuisine! No reservations are accepted and this restaurant is always busy and full! It's worth the wait to eat here! Parking is limited close by, but other parking is available close to the restaurant! Prices are moderate, and the service is really good!

Excellent local NM food.
This is a family friendly place. It's a bit loud and there is almost always a wait. But the food is worth the wait and not expensive.

The food here is pretty good. Found it on a whim. Wife ordered the nachos and I had the green chile enchiladas. Delicious. The adult beverages are great too. At some point after we'd ordered everything, there must have been a shift change or something as we never saw our original waitress again and then there were 3 different people waiting on us and none knew exactly what was going on. Over all, we'd try it again.

One of the best places to eat in Santa Fe!! Their enchiladas are amazing, the chilie is perfect. Never to hot. They have a huge range of great Spanish dishes. They have some great drinks as well, love the Swirl!! As for desserts they have a few really good one's, but my favorite is just the sopapilla with their honey butter! So yummy. It is close to downtown this is one place you want to visit when you come to Santa Fe.

Everybody in town said "Try Tomasita's!" Finally, we went there with two other friends. It was crowded and we had to wait but not for long. They can move a lot of people in and out fast. The food is so good! The bread especially. Unlike Mexican restaurants in the Midwest, the Santa Fe restaurants don't use onions, or very sparsely. This brings out all the other delicious flavors without overpowering the taste. This was a high quality meal served hot and fast. They're known for a beautiful margarita but go easy because you're in a high altitude city! It's harder to breathe here for some. The restaurant is going solar too, so they're eco-friendly! You cannot beat this place. I've been to so many Mexico food restaurants and this one really has my heart, soul, and stomach. :-P

The food here is very good but service could be a little better.
However, it is still a nice place to have a good meal.
We love sopapillas and normally eat them with honey but they arrived at our table with butterNever heard of that before I decided to try a little and it was actually honey butter. WOW so good! Definitely, recommend you try it as it is AMAZING!
Absolutely will visit again the next time we are in town.
