El Pinto restaurant is one of the best restaurants i ever been too in Albuquerque. i had the red chili ribs and they are the best ribs in town, the atmosphere and service were all top notch. The menu full of variety during my next visit, i will definitely order the tomahawk steak.
Beautifully Albuquerque. Finest example of Southwestern dining experience. Far past other Mexican Food Restaurants. Great for Happy Hour! Great for food! Great for out of town friends, family, employers, meetings etc. They also have venue for catering work social events. Great great great.
This place is amazing! A little pricey but some great New Mexican fine dining. You’ve got to try their red chili ribs, the steaks are cooked to perfection with an amazing bark. I love the sass and the bread was the best! We had a great time!
Very good food! Really enjoyed the combination plate- good opportunity to sample many items on the menu. The Chili Rellano was fantastic. Great red chili. The rolled tacos were stuffed with meat, not like other places where they put just a dab in the center, roll it and fry it. We will come back on our next visit to Albuquerque.
This restaurant had great reviews but I don't know why. Perhaps it was authentic New Mexican food but it was incredibly bland and overpriced. Flies dominate the dining experience. Great entree but I was looking more forward to great food that I didn't get. Management tried to correct it with dessert on the house which was good but not enough.
The restaurant is beautiful but I felt the food cost was too high. It was very bland. The salsa was good as were the chips. Our server was excellent. We ordered margaritas and both had two for a price of $40.00. We were there during daylight hours and couldn't read the menu because it was so dark. Children had been eating at the table next to us and after the table was cleaned there was food left all over the floor for the next people to walk in.
Amazing food. Friendly service. A little bit pricey but it’s worth. The only thing that got me really upset - servers were touching fruits for the cocktails with bare hands(You have tongs right next to fruit station , use those magic gadgets). And guys pretend like u cleaned the fruits before cutting them - get rid of the stickers. It doesn’t look cool.
Food was good. The building was very pretty, but as a local I felt like I was in tourist trap. I've definitely had better of the same food elsewhere for a better price. The friend green chili was amazing though, the best thing we ate between 5 people with different dishes.
The staff was terrific! Polite, knowledge, and fast. The food was above average, but unfortunately nothing I would consider exceptional. Had the entire family in for dinner and everyone had a good by time. Definitely recommend if you don't mind the price of the food vs the great service and experience.
Amazing food. The location is awesome and the presentation is great. I would definitely recommend this place. The burrito was amazing. You can eat outside which is a nice taste as well.
The atmosphere here is amazing. Honestly its one of the coolest places I have ever been. The food is excellent as well ave the service was good.
Meets expectations. My wife told me about this place. Going back to her childhood. I have to say it lived up to the hype. Not amazing food but good food. Atmosphere was great. Staff were great. Drinks were amazing.
We went for Valentine's Day without reservations and were sat right away. They had live music and fireplaces going in each room. The seating arrangement was a little strange (metal porch furniture) but the atmosphere was great. We both enjoyed our food. The salsa is amazing. This is a great place for anyone passing through looking for a New Mexican atmosphere.
We recently visited this very well known establishment and while the food was good the rest of the experience was iffy.
When we were seated the first thing we noticed was the extremely wobbly table. our waitress noticed that we were struggling with it and simply ignored the situation. my husband attempted to fix it with sugar packets at least well enough for us to get through our meal. This may seem trivial to some however when you have multiple people sitting at the table its a ticking time bomb for someones drink to get knocked over especially while trying to cut into your smothered burrito.
When we were first being seated I was preoccupied with getting everyone situated that i did not even think to look at my chair. During my meal I had to get up and I realized my butt was stuck to the chair. I had honey all over my tush and all down my leg. I understand that mistakes happen however this makes me wonder about their cleanliness standards. During all my wait staff jobs it was common, daily routine to wipe down the chairs.
We ordered 3 children's bean burritos and was shocked that they are not fully rolled up burritos. These are KIDS burritos. It is a pretty fair assumption that they will be picking them up to eat them. For the price i would think that taking a few extra seconds to fully roll a burrito would be standard.
the most disturbing experience we had was when I needed to take my child to the restroom for a diaper change. THERE WAS NO CHANGING TABLE!!! I was shocked considering that this is a family establishment. i had no other choice then to lay toilet seat liners on the floor and change him there. I was absolutely mortified and completely disgusted!!!
I was already hesitant to even dine here considering it is a well known tourist attraction and I had had a previous bad experience. For the total cost of the bill we should at minimum have a clean, well trained staff dining experience. that was not the case. I doubt i will ever return.
