Good place for cocktails and a snack. Went here twice while visiting Santa Fe; once while waiting for a table at another restaurant and once for lunch. Great selection of margaritas and cocktails. The salsa was average, probably not worth the extra expense. Carnitas tacos were pretty good, but why does a place called Blue Corn serve carnitas on a flour tortilla? Despite the presentation, it tasted good.
The service wasn’t great for as slow as the restaurant seemed. Although the server admitted they were coming off an extremely busy lunch and were catching up. I was in no hurry so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.response / report this review -

Food was AMAZING, don't expect to get a round of drinks in any amount of short time. Kitchen was super fast but everything else was terrible service. Lots of people standing around but couldn't get anyone to fill our water.

Excellent spot to stop in for a quick bite. Ordered a flight of ales and was happy with the offering. Food prices seemed fair, polite staff. Compared with the other breweries in town they could look to add some more character.

Was wandering around and found this gem. Turns out it is food week here in Santa Fe, so they had a 3 course option for $15. Tried that and was not remotely disappointed. The roasted corn chili soup was really really good. The enchiladas with blue corn tortillas were tasty. (Rice and beans not so much) and to finish with the chocolate chimichanga was great. Service was almost perfect but my tea stayed empty from dinner till I left. I did ask for more but to no avail. Over all though, wish I didn't live a state away as I would come back , often.

Tasty salsa. Delicious "corn chowder" type soup. Ribs & chicken basket over-priced. Enchiladas (Christmas chili) decent. Two beers we tried quite good (honey wheat and brown). Would rate higher but service wasweird. Server super friendly and helpful in choosing soup. Delivered food, checked on us once, did one beer refill then dropped the check and ignored us.

Meh Decent but not really good. Nice looking restaurant, clean and nice atmosphere. There's a sports bar side and a restaurant side, but I wasn't impressed by the food.

A big place, not much atmosphere. I was greeted and seated right away but waited five minutes for my waitress to get to me which kind of put me off. My original review was harsh, but in the end the food was very good and service did improve. Not a bad place to duck in for a beer and a bite if other places are too crowded.

This is practically a self serve restaurant. brought some out of town guests for drinks and appetizers and this was an embarrassment of a place. Took 20 min just to order, another 15 for chips and salsa, we had to ask 20 mins later for our drinks and another 10 mins they found them like lost luggage.
Asked how long it would take for a second round and specified not long.. Another 20 mins and the drinks arrived.
Also found a surprise in our salsa, a random raw cut potato at the bottom of the bowl Not sure how raw potatoes get in salsa but can't say I'm surprised after seeing the debacle of service they offer.
With some decent customer service this could have been a not issue but they didn't care about anything. Please patron business that actually care.response / report this review -

The wait staff was almost non-existent. When they were present I literally watched them walk from table to table and apologize that whatever the request was, it was not possible/available. Medium apparently means extra-well-done at Blue Corn Cafe. It was pretty cold on the patio, so my personal favorite was when an elderly couple asked if they could turn on a heat lamp, the waitress said she would have to make sure it was ok. The heat lamp never got turned on, at least while I was there. A real class act. Oh yeah it's a micro-brew too. I only got 1 beer so maybe I just got a dud, but it was on par with Budweiser or Coors. Wow! Seriously steer clear of this place. Santa Fe has so many amazing eats don't get sucked into this giant bag of @$$.

Service slow. Chairs were wet. Music way too loud. Margarita too sweet. Chips and guacamole were good. There's a reason the patio was almost empty and Coyote's was packed.

My wife's and my food were great. Very delicious and plentiful. The children's meals were good except for one thing. My son ordered mashed potatoes and they were spicy - at a level I would expect for an adult, not kids. The patio was fun. The beer was good.

Food was great service was terrible. The waiter seemed like he didn't really care about much at all. It took a long time for the drinks to even get to the table. The food didn't take long to get there however. The food was very good though I got a couple tacos and they were very good especially with the salsa. Overall I might o back but probably won't.

Service is less than expected. The first time we came our waiter was amazing, second we got no refills and we only saw him when he brought our check and the food. Food Is decent, but not worth the wait or the service.

The enchiladas were amazing and so was the lemonade. Great service and friendly staff. The manager came out to ask us how we were doing and if anything was needed. I enjoyed the manager actually checking on the customers. All in all will go back again!
