Great meal and great service! Awesome spot for group dining in downtown ABQ. Chef Marc and his team are doing a great job at upscale dining with a Spanish flair

Oh my! What a wonderful surprise, on a road trip from Ft. Worth to Durango. Stopped for lunch on Thanksgiving day. Everything was full of the most wonderful flavors. Presentation on point.

This place is aMASing! Seriously. The tapas are phenomenal and if you have never been to a Tapas bar before, I recommend getting several tapas for the table OR full sized entrees. I definitely advise against doing both !
My personal fave? Bacon wrapped dates. I cannot get enough of those. I have also had the Power Bowl's here for lunch and was blown away by those as well.response / report this review -

We really enjoy this restaurant inside Hotel Andaluz. Beautiful ambiance, great wines and they offer a wide variety of vegetarian friendly options, which we really appreciate.

I've been here 4-5 times. The atmosphere is amazing. The service isn't very good. They act like they are doing you a favor for serving you. Asked for silverware, salt and pepper after our steaks arrived and the waitress told me to go to the bar, because my tab was under the bartender. Kind of ridiculous. Previous visit, didn't get drink order for nearly 20 minutes and food took 45 minutes to arrive, didn't get attentive service at all. They just comped my tab without really even acknowledging me or asking how everything was.
The artichokes are bomb. The rest of the menu sounds great, but the execution is way off. The rhubarb garnish on the artichokes is inconsistent, and too vinegar-y. The pork belly lacks a bright or fresh element to cut the heaviness of the pork and beans. The duck kidney isn't seared enough, so the texture is unpleasing, just mushy. The bone marrow comes undercooked, but still really tasty. The steaks come undercooked, but again tasty and high-quality. Brussel sprouts undercooked, took 45 minutes to arrive, and lack seasoning. Onion soup very salty, cheese not melted.
I love great restaurants, but for the value you get, just not worth the price. The picture is supposed to be medium to mid well. That's a 40 dollar steak that they cant figure out how to cook. Still good, tasty food, just not worth the price. Hopefully this feedback helps. Could be a great restaurant.response / report this review -

Exquisite food and flavors. Beautiful space and warm staff. Our waiter Richard was engaging and helpful.

Great food and great cocktails. Good date night atmosphere. My partner and I love coming here, but to avoid going all out we usually go to the bar which has many of the same things in a little less formal atmosphere. We have always had great service here though. Definitely would recommend.

We started with cocktails in the one of a kind lobby of a art deco meets old southwest. After enjoying the 1939 hotel we went in for a magnificent meal. Kudos to Michael our waiter, Marc Quinones, chef, and Carlos the Manager for an unforgettable experience! Go for local drinks, port with desert.

Great little cozy restaurant/ wine bar in the mar vista neighborhood!
Loving the lights and the selection of foods.
Very attentive service and it's always nice when the owner stops by to check how everything was.

Great service, very professional waiters.
However, the food is very expensive.
The food combinations are very luxurious and unique, but it wasn't our absolute favorite.
We ordered the bacon and dates and the patatas bravas as starters. The bacon and dates was really good, but the patatas bravas was so so.
I ordered the paella as my main dish. It was good, but the chicken didn't seem to go well with the seafood.
My husband ordered the sea bass. It was very tender but the overall size of the portion was too small for him.
After that we ordered some cocktails. They were pretty good ( sangeria, x mas bloody marry and spicy margarita )response / report this review
