Our arrival was fairly standard with no surprises. The check-in area was decorated nicely for the holidays and the staff were pleasant enough. Our room however, which was supposed to be a Junior Suite with a City View, was on the 4th floor with a window overlooking the building across the street. Between that disappointment and finding the previous guest's trash (which contained personal identifying information) I've had to subtract 1 star. Overall I would probably stay here again but request a room on a much higher floor.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving with my girlfriend. Great service very clean and welcoming and the security staff made us feel very safe. Honestly out of all the places I stayed in Westin was the best!

Great stay. Staff is very friendly and the place e I see clean. The location is great. Very close to the Newport Path. Decent grocery store in walking distance.

Great hotel! Clean and We had an excellent view of the city! The staff was so helpful. We wanted to take the subway to NYC. They told us exactly how to get there! I needed to get to a Macy’s asap and there was one almost next door. The hotel is in a great location! Safe neighborhood. Good hotel to stay in if staying in Jersey City!

A great place to stay for a few nights. The rooms are modern equipped and it's easy to get from the Hotel over the Hudson to Manhattan. The only Thing that's missing is a breakfast buffet.

Our booking included the breakfast, but they denied it, until we had to show them "proof" a screenshot of what it said online while booking for them to honor breakfast. It's quite sad to know that as an SPG member, and a loyal customer, we have to show them proof for something that should have been part of the reservation in the first place! Had we not taken the screenshot, we would have not had the breakfast included! Our rooms wouldn't get cleaned until late afternoon 3-5pm. Not a very common thing especially after calling them and asking them to clean our rooms at 9:30am! I had a long day, came back to find the room wasn't done by 330, so called again then had to step out again for the room to be cleaned.

Only went for dinner and it was decent. Overpriced for sure, but the dinner was pretty tasty. They did try to convince me that a light lager was a double IPA and charged me for the expensive one when I mentioned it, but overall not bad.

I would like to say that I had a beautiful time on my vacation. Let me start by saying I travel around the world, and I never met someone in a hotel somebody so kind and passionate about his work. His name in Tracy Mattheus is an engineer at the Westin Hotel in Jersey City. He came to assist me to fix the air conditioner in my room. He was a very pleasant man and he made me very welcome at the Westin Hotel. And for that reason I will recommend any of my friend of Canada to stay at the Westin Hotel.

Parking was a little difficult to find. Could've done with more/bigger signs. Other than that, was pretty good! Friendly check in staff, room was clean (other than they forgot to clean the coffee maker. There was water and grind left over inside the machine from before.) lighting inside the bathroom was good, shower water pressure was good as well!

Asked for a water facing room and got one. Staff is polite and the hotel is right next to a mall, so plenty of places to eat and shot at. Room service is very limited. No option for room delivery of food, except snacks and beverages. Remote doesn't work too well. The room is clean. Not a fan of the restaurant in the hotel. The menu is pretty limited. Location wise, the hotel is next to the light rail station which is a big plus if you're new to the city.

This may not be the fanciest of hotels BUT, the staff is AMAZING! THE catering manager goes above & beyond even if it's not part of his job. I can not say enough nice things about them. I have stayed here about 4 times, and they are always just as nice as the time before and they remember you. The rooms are nice & clean as well. And it is a GREAT location, easy to get into Manhattan.

This restaurant is quaint and romantic. The food is spectacularly delicious. The wait staff was appropriately attentive. Did I mention how delicious dinner was? This is a perfect spot for a special dinner out to "get to know each other better".

From our arrival to our departure, the service was superb .. the valet parking took care of us. Very convenient for the kind of weather at the moment. The receptionist was welcoming, prompt and efficient. Our room was on the 20th floor, and the room was clean and comfortable we ordered room service, the service came faster than expected.. Food was delicious bed was heaven the checkout at 3pm gave us the opportunity to enjoy more and the checkout was brief and courteous our car was right by the exit, ready to go I'm sure coming back to this hotel

What can I say, this place is awesome. We stayed for four nights and had a beautiful suite with a great city view. We really appreciated the motorized drapes in the morning! The butler and concierge service was outstanding. We were there for our wedding and they were very helpful in arranging limo service for us in addition to normal services. Even breakfast at their restaurant Vitrine was excellent. We will return for sure.
