Very well placed hotel for tourists. Free parking for your rental car and 2 blocks from the Holland Tunnel or 3 blocks from the Newport Center Mall. Comfortable rooms, friendly knowledgeable staff, and complimentary breakfast.

Hotel is stinky and definitely haunted. It also hasn't been renovated in over 30 years. it's named after a tunnel. How good could a hotel named after a tunnel possibly be?

The hotel is OK, a good choice for the $$. The staff is attentive, good security, parking in back, easy walk to a lot of places.

The room was ground level facing the road so traffic noise woke me up. It was a little musty smelling. Decor is dated but clean. Small bathroom with standing shower only and no iron for clothes.

I’d definitely stay here again but it is what it is, a functional place to rest and shower.

First night 124$, for second night they asked me 154$, I feel scammed. This morning (first night) at +/-7 or 8am my wife and I got waked up by the employees because they were yelling in spanish in the hallway in front of my room, it was not only once, they did it 4-5times and it forced me to wake up and leave the room. I wanted to sleep till 9o clock cause we had a short night (first time in new York). I was very disappointed and mad. + breakfast is nice + parking is "free" if you got a room -- price change without any reason --- can't sleep

I stayed at The Holland hotel for 3nights and had a really nice time. Its close to statue of Liberty and just 2miles far from New York City. The facilities staff is really cool and also there is free breakfast and wifi, although the breakfast area is small and less options but its worth the money.

The Holland Hotel truly understands the meaning of hospitality!! We had a few bumps in the road on our vacation to NYC and the staff at Holland Hotel bent over backwards to make sure our stay was amazing! We would recommend this hotel to anybody and they will have our continued business in the future! We love the Holland Hotel!

Great location with easy access to the Metro Link subway system. Super friendly and helpful staff. Free parking! Lots less expensive than in Manhattan. Older hotel but very well maintained and clean and fresh. So glad my wife got us into this place. I unreservedly recommend it.

Rooms are clean, cozy and very quiet (our room was facing the parking lot). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful with everything you'll need. You'll reach the Newport path station in 10 minutes where you have direct connections to 33rd Street and world trade center in NYC. The breakfast could have been more varied. There are buns, croissants, pastry, fruits and cereal but no cheese or sausage. But it was totally OK considering the hotel prices in New York and Jersey. Be aware that there is no breakfast room but you have to take the food from the lobby to your room. I would recommend the Holland hotel.

Good if you're not spending much time in the room. Free parking, breakfast, close to the path. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very small hotel. The free breakfast is in the lobby where you check in and has no place to sit. The only great thing was its location. It is right at the opening of NYC or if you choose NJ City. If you are looking for a place to stay with a reasonable cost this is it. If you are looking for something that has a bar or other things with it definitely not the place.

Came to stay here all the way from California. The room was clean. Staff was very helpful. Especially the manager, I can't remember his name. Just remember every time I walk through that door he was very welcoming and helpful. My third day there I saw him in the morning and then when we came back at night around 12 AM he was still there. I guess he had to cover some shifts, due to low stuff. However, he still had a smile on his face and still very helpful. I couldn't believe his been working for almost 24 hours. And he had to work till the morning until someone relieved him from his shift. I honestly give it up to this guy. I would've been in a crappy mood lol. I'm sure he was, but he didn't make us feel like he wasI would definitely stay here again.. attitude and customer service is everything. Oh and they have endless croissant

Stunning NYC views. Clean, modern and beautiful. Parking was a bit expensive. 38 dollars to valet. Not many other options unless you want to spend time searching the streets or paying the price at a parking garage. Bar stays open late!
