This hotel was very clean, modern and upscale. My only reason for 4 stars was due to them giving us a room with two Full sized beds when we paid for a King room. The front desk handled it, and moved us, but was a bit of a pain. No fridge in the room, but called down and they immediately brought up a new one. Beautiful river view and beds are extremely comfortable.

I arrived to the hotel early, but I was allowed to check-in, and was even upgraded to a better room. The person at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The room was so spacious, with a very comfortable bed, and a great view. Enjoyed room service during my stay, which was delicious and very prompt in arriving. Overall, great hotel in a very convenient location. Would definitely stay there again!

The Westin is everything that you would expect from a high end hospitality chain. My only main feedback is for the room - there are not enough towel hooks, or places to unpack your clothes. Though the room is nice, and the waterfall shower in the bathroom is divine; the lack of drawer space, and places to hang winter items is something to be improved upon.

The best part of the Westin, is Lisa Treacy, the Concierge. This woman is the reason for the 5-star review. If you think you *know* what you want to do in Chicago, she'll either make it happen *like that*, or she'll redirect you to something better. If you don't know what you want to do - she'll suggest the best places based on your preferences. Food places, ways to get there, ways to save money - Lisa truly knows every single secret and tip about Chicago. And you can tell that she loves doing what she does and loves helping people. Lisa is a gem, and she will truly make your stay something memorable.

Rooms are nice. Location is great. Just don't expect courtesy after you leave. I left a device in my room. Contacted them 4 times trying to get someone to retrieve it for me. No response. A month later, they said they would check the room. OF COURSE, after a month, my device was gone. An apology in their much delayed response sure would've been nice!

One of my favorite hotels. Classic style on the river. Bar is great with happy hour and sushi restaurant in lobby. Entrance is opposite the river on the north side of the building

Checked in for our one year anniversary. Staff was very courteous. Hotel was clean and we'll maintained. River view is at an angle, but nice. Pillows are all very soft and none were even close to firm. Valet is $62 per night, but there isn't too much parking around there.

Best experience in all my years of travel. Sam the workout manager is the best at what he does. He is generous with his time and I will always than the Lord for sending him on my healing journey. Forever blessed you will be Sam!

Fantastic hotel, fantastic view, fantastic room!! Love it, I got a corner unit that give me a great view of the river, super cool! The check in staff was friendly. Hotel even has an executive lounge for platinum members which is rare in Westin. Convenient to a lot of local stuff and close to the business district as well. Will definitely recommend and come back.

Great hotel and will definitely stay here again. The hotel is very modern and all areas are clean and well maintained. Staff are excellent and very helpful. They even have New Balance gym kits you can hire for $5 which include trainers, socks, shorts and a t-shirt which was very useful since our luggage was delayed by the airline for >24 hours.

Great location close to many public transportation options. Very quick walk to the blue line stop to get to and from the airport. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and we had a great experience here!

The location was in the heart of Chicago and walking distance from almost everything you could want. The room was comfortable but the bed was just a tad stiff. Also the feather pillows were hard to sleep on, but stack a few on top of each other, then it's all good. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and if one person didn't know the answer, they knew who did. Overall, the Westin was fantastic and also the food was unbelievable.

Weekend perfection! This hotel has exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. All staff have been professional yet friendly. My room is spacious and comfortable, the best SPG hotel room I've had to date. The hotel is situated close to theatre district, shopping, Millennium Park and many fantastic restaurants. I can't wait to come back and bring my friends!

Nice hotel, great breakfast and location. Was disappointed with the front desk workers though.
The first thing that disappointed me was that one front desk clerk (Wren) was going to give us a free upgrade cause it was my friends birthday and they were at 60% occupancy, coming from a hospitality background that shouldn't of been a problem, but it wasn't short after that that another front desk work interjected and in front of us told Wren she could not do that. The second thing that happened was that I had asked Wren for a band aid so she had offered two but I declined it and said I only needed one. The following day I had asked for a band aid because I had a blister, the man there was in the process of offering me one and then declined and said they're only for emergencies!!! Excuse me?! They seem to be extremely stingy at this hotel. The third thing was the fact that I had to call the front desk 5 times to make sure that there was food in the room as a surprise for my friends birthday. For this caliber of a hotel I would expected them to be a little bit more on their game in terms of customer service but it was definitely lacking. I was more impressed with the Westin at Time Square. Also the lack of smiles at the front desk didn't add to the welcoming feel.

My wife and I come to Chicago 1-3 times a year to watch Cubs games. We stay here every time and love it. Rooms are always clean and comfortable, the breakfast on the weekends, while a bit pricey (to be expected) is great. Finally, the location on the river is perfect. Short walks to the EL and numerous restaurants within 3 blocks. Can't go wrong staying here!
