As the owner of the Celestial Cakery, I can easily say that the Vanlandingham Estate is one of the most beautiful settings for a garden wedding. We have delivered wedding cakes to the Estate at least a dozen times and the staff is always very attentive and the venue is always beautiful :)

The only time I've ever been here is for "Time Out Youth's Alternative Prom". This estate is absolutely beautiful in person and the photos don't do it any justice.

A wildlife refuge only a mile away from uptown Charlotte. Set in the middle of a well known historic neighborhood and only a few blocks away from some of the best night life in the city. A beautiful place for a wedding or a weekend getaway.

You simply cannot go wrong with this location. The historic house is beautifully maintained, lovingly cared for, and the entire property is stunning - from the gardens to pond, green house to main house. The staff are also attentive and very friendly. I'm an annual guest and wouldn't miss it.
