Probably the nicest cheap hotel in the area. Right off the interstate and easy to get too.

Not the best motel I've ever stayed in, but not the worst either. The cons: sheets were stained, staff wasn't friendly, breakfast was mediocre, walls in the bathroom were damaged. The pros: clean room, ac worked great, plenty of towels and pillows, good water pressure.

This place was old and smelled bad. If we weren't so tired from traveling, we would have left. The ice machine was only on the first floor and only stairs to get all our luggage onto the second floor. Not horrible, but we are staying a much nicer hotel tonight.

The bed dipped into the middle, the toilet seat was filthy. Good thing I had cleaning/disinfecting stuff. Was a stop to sleep between NY and Atlanta, and I was tired, so I I've with it.

someone who obviously is getting paid to work there around 7 am answered my call and sounded as if they were barely cognizant and angrily answered my questions about rates. I have been told it is very loud there because of interstate traffic. AND THEIR RATES WERE HIGH COMPARED TO THE OTHER HOTELS WHICH WERE BETTER SITUATED OFF THE INTERSTATE. Save your time and call the others. Always hard to understand why someone who gets a paycheck be hostile to people who call. dont they get it. Guests pay her salary. Forget this place.

I just have 2 minor issues with this hotel. 1(I can't stand) is the lights are on a motion sensor in the vanity area. This is a dumb idea. Also you have to go to the front desk to get an iron and ironing board ( ironing board is a table top) which is harder to use.

Not a good hotel, right next to a loud strip club. Road to hotel horrible and hotel needs serious updating. Housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times with a Do Not Disturb sign on door.

They try hard to help people feel comfortable an safe they do the best they can with what they have to work with every body cant be perfect but we try our best an thats all we can do thank God

Average hotel. Nice clean decor, microwave and fridge in room. Nice WiFi and bathrooms. No smells . Nice place to stay if passing by. Quick on and off the interstate. And quiet.

Nice rooms, very clean. Staff is not very friendly and if something is wrong, like we couldn't get our TV to work they won't discount your room for any reason or give you any breaks! By the time we stopped driving and checked in we were only there long enough to nap and get back on the road so we paid almost $90 for just 6 hours. They're more expensive than the one at exit 36 and the one in Charlotte and they don't care about that either. Won't accept coupons but if you don't care about the way they manage then it's a good place. Clean, comfy beds, the shower was awesome with great water pressure, really hot water, and a shower head you could change settings on. The TV will work, as we found out on check out but you have to press some button 3 times or something weird like that so be sure to ask.

We went to the club directly behind this hotel one night, and decided it was best if we didn't drive home since we had a bit too much to drink. BTW, that's not to say we were inebriated or disorderly in any way. We walked to this hotel and were given a rate at the front desk by a woman behind the glass, as she asked for my credit card and ID. I was quickly told I could not have the room because I lived within 60 miles of the hotel. I was stunned I've never in my life heard of a hotel doing this. She said they didn't give rooms to locals. I asked if it was some state law I was unaware of, and she said it was "management's rule", and gave no further explanation. We walked away wondering if they were trying to take some kind of bible belt moral stand on local couples having presumably shady interludes upon which they frowned or something. Well, I ended up having to roll my truck across the road to different hotel, which I would rather have not taken even that chance, but had no choice. When I asked, the nice lady at the Holiday Inn Express she explained that she had also worked for a smaller hotel chain which employed the rule, and said there is a feeling that locals are more likely to trash a room than travelers. I don't know if that's the case, but I think it should be state law that a hotel must give a person who is trying not to drink and drive, a place to sleep. That's just my opinion.
