Great location, rooms are of a good size and very comfortable. The service in the restaurant is terrible though. It's a good hotel but others around offer a better service for the same price.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Off the busy noisy central park track. Fantastic service beautiful artwork & rooftop terrace with great views. Strongly recommend it to all. A little expensive but well worth it. Will go back again.

Stayed here when they first opened, it is an absolutely beautiful luxury hotel with Duxiana beds to die for!! It was the best sleep I have gotten and felt like sleeping on a cloud. Amazing bathrooms

Great location not far from Central Park and several museums are close by the hotel. Service seems ok, however a couple of guests have indicated their rooms were not available for 3pm check in time. But overall, the staff is friendly and seem knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

If you are looking for a nice, quiet location to retire in the city, this is the perfect hotel. I have taken advantage of all of their services since I've been traveling to and from NY. The staff is attentive but understands privacy is incredibly important to many of their clients. The spa is a wonderful way to unwind after a busy work week, and the bar has fantastic cocktails. I especially love the live music they provide. If you enjoy art, take advantage of their collection -- the staff is always willing to arrange a tour. All of my requests have always been met in a timely and courteous manner, from diet restrictions while eating at Cafe Boulud to courier services. Highly recommend.

this was our second time staying at The Surrey and we enjoyed it as much this time as the first time. The room was very comfortable with a small sitting area. We were able to check in early which was extremely nice as my husband was not feeling well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants understated elegance with exceptional service.

They location, decor and quality of the bar is great. Unfortunately the waiters, and effort to be overly attentive and asking if everything was Ok, wound up cutting off our conversation at least 10 times.

Excellent service! My room was very clean. They even had in room cocktail service in which a bartender comes to your room to make you a drink using the stocked bar in your room.

We've stayed at The Surrey every time we've been to New York and they've always gone out of their way to ensure our stay was great. This time we were traveling with our 1 year old child. They had a crib and high chair waiting for us and even provided a kettle for the room for us to heat water for his nighttime bottles with.
