I had an amazing few days here. All the amenities that they offer and the staff made this visit extremely enjoyable and a definite must in the future. I would not change a thing

Beautiful views of downtown Miami, not to mention of the grounds themselves. Great service from staff at the front desk. You could spend all day by the pool with no regrets.

I've fairly well traveled and would like to say that this is now one of, if not my favorite properties I've ever stayed at.
Located on its own small island between Downtown Miami and South Beach The Standard feels like it's own little oasis. The U shape of the hotel creates a cozy atmosphere which is filled with a beautifully manicured garden featuring hammocks, hanging chairs, private spaces and fire pits. Walking through this serene space is truly relaxing.
The pool exceeds expectations. Surrounded by ample seating, a waterfall hot tub, cold plunge pool and the beautiful bay/docks. It doesn't get much better than this in Miami. Pool side service/food & drinks are good. For me it's all in the details and the fact that there is music playing underwater in the pool pushed me over the edge. Just floating in the pool listening to underwater tunes. Genius.
Lido spa steam room, dry sauna, hammam and showers all included in the room costs.
We stayed in the suite with an outdoor bathtub. The room was well designed and made the best use of a small space. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was nice and spacious. Outdoor courtyard was nice and we made good use of the bathtub 😉.
Staff was very friendly and professional and the online valet system worked great.
My favourite parts of The Standard is the self-appointed title of it being an 'Adult Playground' and the fact that it's dog friendly! 18+ means no kids running around and screaming which creates a really great and relaxing vibe and allows you get loose and really enjoy the surroundings and other guests company.
Bang for buck one of the best I've seen. Will definitely be back.response / report this review -

Tranquil. Superb service. A very memorable 18th anniversary celebration! We stayed for a couple nights and it must have been off season because it wasn't crowded at all. After making the reservation online, I received a personal phone call to notify that the pool would be closed for maintenance during our stay. That was a nice touch. I hadn't known that and it didn't affect our plans but that's good customer service. Arrangements were made for guests to use a different hotel pool which we didn't take advantage of due to the torrential rains that day. Every single staff member went out of their way to make our stay exceptional. The gym is well-equipped with the exception of no free-weight squat rack. The couples massage was the best we've ever had. (I think Alejandra was her name) was astonishingly skilled. The restaurant was excellent for every meal. The creme brullee was our favorite dessert. Definitely splurge and get a room with the outdoor tub. My wife loved it. We will definitely be back!

What's not to love? Incredible grounds and views, healthy and yummy food, gorgeous pool and chill vibes. This is a true gem. Also, Mark, the southern gentleman who is a server in the pool area, is the best- honestly one of the nicest and most attentive servers I've had at any restaurant. I bet he rings 2x what the other servers do just because of how incredibly friendly he is. This place makes me happy 🤗response / report this review -

Not friendly for new moms in need of a spa treatment
If you are looking to get your new mama friend, daughter, sister, or wife a spa treatment, this is not the place to go to. Over a year ago, I booked a facial and massage service at The Standard. I loved the experience for its ambiance and pool perks. Since then, I have wanted to relive the experience and got the opportunity when my family bought a gift card for my birthday.
My situation has changed in that now I have an amazing 5-month-old baby, who I still breastfeed, but my need for relaxation has increased. My sister and I called several times to see if they could accommodate my needs (a private room with an outlet for 30 mins) but we were continually passed to another person, forgotten on-hold, or hung up on all together.
I'm not sure what I will do now that I have this gift card but I am seriously disappointed in the customer service that I have received, especially at a place that is marketed as being progressive, modern, and cutting edge. I realize that The Standard has a certain image they want to maintain, but I was not planning on bringing my child there. As a young new mother, I just wanted to spend the day there but was treated as an unwelcome guest.response / report this review -

Went to support the DJ, left with a new place I'd love to come back to. The patio is comfortable and very conducive to hanging out with a friends or a date. The view of the water is astounding, allowing you to view the open water, beautiful yachts, and the buildings of Miami Beach. Food choices area limited, but very tasty. Check out Brian Jones every Friday night!

I've never stayed overnight but I have come to the spa and had brunch. This place is a must if you are visiting or live in Miami. The spa is peaceful and not that crowded, the hammam is a wonderful experience and the handmade body scrubs are to die for! Highly recommend making a day out of it! My experience at The standard is always wonderful! I have visited twice this past year and I recommend the spa to all of my friends. My boyfriend and I love the food choices. Very clean eating. The service is always great and very polite!

Beautiful and clean property. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had a massage and stayed after to enjoy a spa day pass. Would definitely visit again.
