Came for some drinks in the evening. Upstairs bar has great ambiance and a good menu. Our bartender Cassie was also very nice, she was helpful in picking out some drinks that were delicious! Will definitely be coming back later
Had dinner and drinks at the Ritz-Carlton downtown Atlanta. As expected a high end location, beautiful inside and professional staff. Food (steak and shrimp) were delicious and the wine selection was excellent. All prices were at 4 star level, but if you have the jack to spend and you want fine food and top notch service, this is the place to go. Clientele seemed to be laywers, country club typeswhich is not me, but I sure could get used to being at a Ritz-Carlton location. Any of them. 5 star service at 4 star pricing. Highly recommend.
The rooms are beautiful, though feel dated. My room was beside the staff elevator, and I kept waking up to the clanging of room service carts. Not exactly restful. Still, the amenities are to die for, if you can spare the cash for upgrades.
There is so much to be said about the service of this beautiful hotel. My friends and I stayed here over the weekend for my friend's wedding, and everyone, from the valets, to the front desk concierge, to the wait staff, took such great care of us and really made my friend's wedding weekend so special. I have to give a special shout out to the bartender Matthew. He was FANTASTIC. He took such great care of us and gave us such exceptional service. I live in the Atlanta area and will go to the Ritz just to go get a drink from him again. Seriously, thank you Matthew for making my friend's weekend so great!
Old building in downtown. Centrally located. Many nearby rest and bars. Small rooms with even smaller bathrooms. Good and professional staff as expected in a RC and basic Ritz Carlton amenities. However, the hotel has no character. I guess few in downtown Atlanta do. Next time will look for a hotel in midtown or Buckhead. Much nicer areas.
I have used this hotel when we could not get reservations at a core hotel. Champagne on entrance, rooms ready early, always had enough valet parking, snacks and lemonade available in lobby. Service is always great.
The restaurant has a breakfast brunch that is high quality and the staff sent us back with enough left-overs for lunch. That saved a great amount of time.
Now they have DC*TV Land in house TV. No DC*TV wass it's one downfall. Now it is just that it is 2 blocks from the other hotels and no sky bridges.
We celebrated our ninth anniversary here. The amount is attention they give to the details is outstanding. We dined at The Atlanta Grill. They had a nice fare. It was good but lacked a little inspiration. Breakfast left a bit to be desired our order was wrong and the waffle was cold. But otherwise top notch service.
I stayed here last weekend and service was smooth and professional. This weekend the room had no fresh fruit which was given last weekend. The staff seems unorganized and not as friendly. They shuttled us to attractions last weekend which was awesome but this trip I was told to take a cab. Its very confusing being that it was Thursday and they were not as busy as last weekend. This is a shock due to the fact I was here six days ago and raved to my husband that he should join me on this trip. It looks like I will be shopping for a new hotel next time I return to Atlanta Ga. Nice hotels and restaurants are suppose to be consistent, really disappointed. One more thing so you know what to expect. The valet charge is $40 they do not mention it but add it on you bill when you check out.
Professionalism is executed in every sense from all members of the staff. The valet opens and shuts our car doors after us and even offer to give directions without having to ask. My wife and I were given complimentary champagne upon checking in and the lobby is stunning! We booked the executive suite for our stay and it did not disappoint.
Room service was ordered during our first night and the food exceeded our expectations. The AG grill is simply worth coming back to as well. We even had one of the staff members check in on us to see if we needed anything without request. Overall, an amazing experience that is worth every penny. Thank you to the amazing staff for making our stay a memorable one!
Five stars for the attentive and detailed service, top shelf amenities, and overall amazing experience.
From the moment I exited my car, I felt pampered.
Every singe staff member I came into contact with was helpful and professional.
I loved the fact that you can request a custom scent for the bathroom upon your first entry.
The room was laid out to perfection.
The room service was delicious as well!
You must visit the gift shop. They have candles for sale that will make your home smell incredible.
My compliments to the whole establishment!
Stayed at this hotel for a meeting with Deloitte as it is connected to their building in downtown Atlanta. Great location for other activities and restaurants nearby. Service was great as usual with most Marriotts, but Ritz Carlton's are a cut above the rest. They have a concierge option for a higher room rate which includes lounge access, food, and beverages. I didn't buy this option but it sounded pretty good that I might try it the next time I stay at this hotel as I really like everything about it as lifetime Gold rewards member. ENJOY!!
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around
The room was located In a great location on pea here right in the middle of everything. The valet parking was great the bed was comfortable and they had for available for extra sleeping because even though we reserved a double queen they only had 1 king available. Hotel was clean and pretty. We could walk to everything, we were therefor the hair show and walked to it
I don't know how much they paid to get 5 stars but it must have been a lot! The only good thing is reception staff, very friendly. Other than that parking valet - slow, rooms - small, cleanliness - not the best, hotel maids -SUPER loud! slamming the doors, talking and laughing loud. Menu prices - very high. So, the room price $300 to get all of that experience WAY TOO MUCH! I do NOT recommend this place.
Arriving on Saturday before a big NFL game the hotel was packed with people. We had outstanding customer service from the time we arrived until the time we left. The gentleman who parked our car even took our trash out from traveling with two kids. Upon arrival they had champagne waiting on us and a candy buffet in the grand lobby for guest's to enjoy.
The rooms were clean great view from the 11th floor beds were super comfortable. Complementary bottled water in the rooms with coffee maker, nice size bathroom. I would definitely stay at this location again!! Thank you Ritz- Carlton Atlanta for making our weekend enjoyable!! We will be back soon!
