We enjoyed our stay at this RI. The area of town was decent for a city. I liked how close it was to everything around. It was a short walk everywhere. We had a great view of the park and surrounding areas. The room was very economical in the sense that it was tight trying to get around some of the doors to get through the room, but it's just an old design. Be sure to check out some of the history on the building. Very interesting.

The staffs are SO FRIENDLY and HELPFUL! Loved their social events with free food and drinks. I gotta try some local brews, and they even looked for me to tell me the name and location of the brewery. I stayed almost a week and was not ever bored with their breakfast. However, I am extremely disappointed in their non-recycling friendly environment. Maybe it is a whole Atlanta thing, it was so hard to find a recycling bin anywhere. I can't believe they don't recycle at all at this days and age. I ended up carrying all my recyclable to the airport, but they didn't have recycling either, so they went all the way back to Chicago with me -.-" that's crazy! I just can't throw away things that is perfectly fine to recycle.

Location is great for downtown Atlanta. Heart of Peachtree. Walking distance. For an extended stay, this is a great location. Room had a stove, microwave and frig. Room had separated living-work space and bedroom-bathroom. Hotel also offered a pantry with limited food and beverages. Room I selected was pretty small space. MARTA stop is 50ft away. Cons were no 24hr room service. To need to be cautious at night. Do not walk around alone anywhere but in Peachtree. Ladies do not walk alone period. I love Atlanta, but I have to state the truth Downtown Atlanta at night is not safe. Aside from going to the restaurants and bars in Peachtree all locals advised me NOT to walk alone. Do not go exploring the streets at night. During the day, it's an awesome great & lively city. The staff at The Residence in was Extremely friendly and helpful to me. Especially for the positive way I was treated I would stay there again and would recommend to anyone going to downtown Atlanta.

The whole staff was wonderful! I can't remember his name, but the AGM checked us in and he was so friendly and told me about the history of the building and the surrounding areas of town. Anyway, the hotel is at a really central location and has a valet available for parking. They also have very strict security which was great. The elevator wouldn't even work without your room key! I was a bit upset with the room itself. When I go to a Residence Inn I expect to feel at home. The room was less than half the size of a normal room, it had a double bed, no sofa, a college sized fridge, and the shower, toilet and sink were all crammed into one small room. I understand the hotel is downtown and in an older building but I still expected more from a residence inn. Also they don't serve coffee all day and I couldn't figure out how to use the one in the room. I will say though that the staff was so great that it made up for all the other stuff.

The building is older with a lot of nice architectural details. Probably built in the early 1900's. There are 4 elevators but only one seems to be functioning. The room was small but quaint. Clean and modern. Very convenient location to the train and trolley, which is located across the street. Attractions to World of Coca-Cola, Atlanta Aquarium, CNN, and Olympic Park are within walking.

Raymond at the front desk checked us in. He was friendly, courteous and informative. Raymond provided us with maps of Atlanta, pointed out the attractions, and gave us directions. He is the stature of Southern Hospitality.

We had a great time. Thanks Atlanta!

Location 7/10 many things within walking distance and just next to a Marta train station, which is a plus, but many beggers around, felt quite unsafe walking near by.
Staff 6/10 they were friendly but found themselves unable to help when a problem arose. Ended up not sure if they even tried.
When when we made the reservation it said the room was for 6 people but when we arrived it was for only 4 so ended up being very uncomfortable and somehow nobody could help.
The included breakfast was pretty good. Though there wasn't much sitting room.
Overall cramped and uncomfortable, but on a great location.

Room was great. Clean and spacious. Make sure you are headed to the right address. There are 3 Residence Inns on Peachtree Street. Parking is expensive and not attached to the building.

The Marriott is always a clean amazing place to stay. The staff are super helpful, and as a guest you lack for nothing. Everything you need is at your fingertips. Highly recommend this hotel.

Smaller than other Residence Inns as far as the room goes, and the elevators are a bit unsteady (although actually perfectly safe they just shake a bit). The location is very convenient to downtown Atlanta. The service though is top notch. From the front desk to the breakfast attendants we have been so happy with everyone we have interacted with.

My family and i were treated as family. We had a misfortune and was out of our home for about 6 weeks. Our stay was awesome from the time we pulled up to the valet to the time we checked out!

The downtown location is central to a lot of activities and also very close to midtown. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The kitchenette was particularly great bc it allowed us to eat in the room some for budget and dietary reasons. The staff have all been very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Service was very good as it is at Marriott. The room that I stayed in had a sticky bathroom floor and the linens for the sofa-bed were missing. Complimentary beer and wine were available on Wednesday evening. But it was also billed as dessert night. So there was wine and beer but the only dessert was some pre-made S'mores and some olives. The hotel itself is in a good location, walking distance from Centennial Olympic Park and the museums and attractions near there. The price was also reasonable.

I came to Atlanta on business and this hotel was suggested to me by the people I was visiting. My room was a suite consisting of living room/kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom. Place is very clean. Kitchen has microwave, refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and even pots and pans!!
The free breakfast is not your usual free crap you get in most hotels. There was eggs, waffles, toast, fruits, yogurt, cereals, etc.
the staff was very friendly at breakfast time, they clear your unwanted plates, say good morning and just being super nice. I also noticed that all the staff worked well together. You could tell that they are happy at what they do.

This has messed my entire vacation up. We were placed in room 1505 and had to be moved immediately bc the dishwasher was broken. They then moved us to another room that had dirty pillows and the bedsthin and not even plush. I asked could he please upgrade the room or something and was told not possible. We paid close to $800 for 3 nights. We could have booked better. I waited all this time for a getaway and ready to board my flight back home. I would never stay here again. Just not up to par.
