Good hotel, the bar is good and the food is great (pricy though). Gym is a little small, but the pool and jacuzzi are pretty cool.
Nice place for stopping on business. Rooms are large with a separate bedroom. Bed very comfortable and fantastic full breakfast complimentary.
The rooms are good, the restaurant and bar manager is AMAZING, the food is some of the best I have ever eaten, the bartender really knows her job is is fun to be around, it really makes you want to go back.
Very good, nicely remodeled. Staff is super helpful, they have a good bar and restaurant. The suite has two TVs, worked without any issue. Ample of light fixtures, I was able to shave without going near the window.
Stayed here for a week for work. The atmosphere is quaint, pleasant hotel. Suites are divided into living room, bathroom and bedrooms. The overall square space of a suite may not be as large as the newest 5-star hotels, but it certainly felt spacious.
The hotel allowed us to do early check-in. There's a 24 hour gym, which is slightly cramped but overall well equipped. There's an outdoor pool open from 9am to 10pm which I personally didn't try, but my colleague said was very good, especially because of the heated spa. There's a small arcade and small shop. There's also a coin laundry on the second floor. Unfortunately one lift didn't seem to be working while I was there, but then then it wasn't too bad.
Pastries, fruits, eggs, sausages and bacon are served for breakfast. I found the bacon particularly exceptional.
Good hotel in the heart of Santa Clara. If you enjoy soft beds, this hotel is not for you. My only complaint is the beds are hard.
Spacious rooms and good value for money. Salmon at restaurant for dinner is highly recommended. Breakfast is ok. Staff is friendly. Gym is only crowded very early in the morning, it's small but decent gym.
The room was clean and relaxing. I stayed on the fourth floor. I had a living room with a couch, chair, tables, desk and TV. It also had a king size bed. The staff was friendly. They used their shuttle to pick us up at the airport. For each night stay, I received a voucher for a free drink at the bar. The breakfast in the morning was good as well.
Good Silicon Valley hotel. Spacious, clean and conveniently designed room. Like the separate sitting room with a big TV and windows. Love the separate bathroom vanities. Breakfast room is comfortable. Breakfast has a nice selections of hot food and fresh fruits. They had made to order omelette. But quite shocked at the bacon which is black and dried and was like that for the 3 days we stayed. They close the breakfast area at 9.30 am sharp. Reception staff were all courteous. Location was central to everything and close to San Jose Intl airport. I will sure return when I visit California again.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! The location was very convenient for me - I felt that I could get wherever I needed to go pretty quickly. They served breakfast every morning and it was always delicious! The people who tend the rooms are friendly and the people at the front desk were helpful for the most part. As far as the room itself, it's spacious and comfortable. I didn't care too much for the double doors to the bathroom, but otherwise the room has a convenient layout, is nicely decorated, and well-kept. I would recommend this hotel!
Very kind people, the room is spacious neat and clean. Wifi is fast, the breakfast is decent. I loved the bar and they offered a drink. Definitely very good hotel, will visit again.
Great amenities mattresses a little hard and pillow over stuffed. First 2 nights nice and quiet which is what you expect when staying in a hotel. Last night, the hotel was taken over by kids running up and down the halls. Playing in the elevators knocking on everyone's doors while their parents and chaperones sat in the bar until closing drinking, not caring what their kids did. Hotel staff tells us if WE can catch the bring them to them. If we can catch them? They did send their security guard to try and find them, but they weren't to concerned. We eventually left to get away from it. If booking this hotel make sure there are no large groups of kids staying there because they will let them just run around annoying other patrons.
Perfect silicon valley hotel, I really cannot find a bad word for it. Outstanding service, clean and quiet, great food and bar, friendly and helpful staff. The square bar is great for meeting people if you're traveling alone as many are for work. Comfortable large beds, nicely designed rooms, good pool. Excellent for San Jose airport and easy travel to Sunnyvale, Mountain View, or Palo Alto as Highway 101 junction is just round the corner. 10 minute walk to wholefoods if you want to stock up the fridge. Hotel shuttle service will get you to downtown or local stations of traveling further. My 'go to' hotel in the valley now when I'm traveling for work, greatly look forward to my return.
Love this hotel, the rooms, and the property. Unfortunately there was what seemed like a thousand children running all over the place when we were there. The pool, the restaurant, the elevators were all a negative experience with children butting in line and having an overall disrespect for everyone else around them. At breakfast they heaped there plates with they wouldn't be able to eat. The pool was so full of kids running and splashing about it seemed there was no parents around, but they were. The hot tub was even overflowing with kids and the water was full of foam (staff drained and refilled but they were waiting again the next morning).
It was sad as we really wanted to enjoy the pool area
The breakfast that's included in this hotel is fantastic! The elevators are fast and smooth, rooms are clean, hallways clean, it is a great hotel overall and it would get 5 stars if we didn't have the "Children of the Corn" experience LOL.
If you're lucky enough to stay here without kids, you'll love it I'm sure.
The easiest check in ever and great customer service. The place is very nicely done and though the suite was small/med, it was arranged very well. Free breakfast daily and a complimentary adult beverage nightly. Computers and printers available free of charge, nice sized pool, ample parking and close to the freeway and near the stadium. I visited the amazing Mountain Winery for a concert and this is where I stayed. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
Great hotel right down the street from several attractions. Hotel staff are very professional and courteous. You get a complimentary drink at the bar when you check in and the breakfast is really good. Will definitely be trying the restaurant on my next visit. The suites are clean my only complaint is the beds are a little hard for my taste.
Do not stay here if you're expecting a comfortable bed. The beds are very hard. I travel for business a few times per month and their bed was the hardest I've ever experienced. I could only sleep on it about 4 hours. When I requested to be moved to a room with a softer bed, the manager advised me that all the beds in the hotel were the same. The beds feel like the same firmness as sleeping on the floor. All of the other amenities seemed fine
I was trying to plan a miniature vacation and I always like to know when staying in a hotel what kind of neighborhood I am staying in because I have two small girls and I just want to make sure that we are safe. I called and a gal named Nancy answered the phone and spent about 5 minutes answering all my questions and she was very patient and polite. When we checked in Vanessa helped us and she was awesome! She even upgraded us for free! The rooms were nice and they give you a free drink ticket. In order to use the ticket you have to purchase an entree and if you get room service there are only five items to choose from. We ordered the burger and it was not cooked properly. But it was really good. They did not bring us silverware or napkins. But there were a ton of towels in the hotel so it worked out. The breakfast was outstanding! You can make your own waffles and they have pancakes fruit and yogurt cereal toast potatoes bacon sausage juices coffee you name it they had it. The pool was heated but still too cold for us to go in but my daughter really wanted to so she hung out on the steps why I hung out in the spa. All the staff was very friendly.
The Plaza Suites in Santa Clara offered an amazing stay at a reasonable rate. The two room suite that included a fridge, microwave, TV and more was perfect. Staff was amazing and helpful, going above usual accommodations for guests. On top of the reasonable rates they offer a first drink on us coupon and $20 food credit to use each day. This is an amazing hotel, great for business travelers and vacationers alike.
