The hotel itself is nice. The rooms were clean and very modern. Soft beds and nice large bathroom. However, the freeway noise was insane. I got maybe 4 hours of sleep. The blind in bedroom did nothing to actually block out the building security lights. There needed to be a curtain over the blinds. The AC unit would not turn on and it got very stuffy in the room on a warm spring day in Cali. If it was summer I would have roasted. The buffet breakfast was great, except for the long black hair from the lady in the kitchen. I'm blonde so it wasn't mine! I told the staff about my experience and the front desk gal said sorry and that was it. I asked if there was any discount I could get or comps and she said no. So there it is. You get what you get and they don't really seem to care. Wont be going back.
Probably one of the more reasonably priced hotels in the area. Room was fine, although the sinks were a little "too trendy". The breakfast is very carb-heavy. Not too many options in the way of fruits and veggies. Eggs to order were great though.
I give one star due to various reasons. Our stay at Zico this past weekend has been one of the worst hotel stays and vacation till date. Firstly I should say never stay at Zico with a baby (infant). We told Brita twice and called the hotel in the morning, to keep a crib in the room and they never did when we arrived. We arrived at 9:00 PM just to let you guys know. Also when I called Brita inquiring why the crib was still not there, she replied very rudely over the phone. She came to our room and just pushed the crib through the door and told us to arrange & place the crib by ourselves. Frankly speaking it was a difficult task as the room was so much, it was really difficult to squeeze the crib in between. We thought of booking Sheraton, but insisted my husband to book Zico just to have an unique experience. But it was close to none. Secondly, the fridge was not working and the guy at front-desk was extremely good unlike Brita. He came at 12:00 AM at night and smilingly changed the fridge for us. The AC was too noisy and the bathroom at roaches as well. Oh well! the sink tap was always dripping. So you know it was not only one of the worst customer service from Brita but also the rooms were not good. Please don't think we have not traveled with our baby earlier, we love to travel and have traveled quite a lot and mostly stayed in the hotel chains. So, i would like to say to the management of Hotel Zico, get your customer service lady fixed.
I truly enjoyed my stay here at the hotel, after reading some of the amazing reviews about *Brita* I had to meet here.. I DID!!! She's heart warming, bubbly personality, helpful and very caring for her guest.. Also the Breakfast crew was warm & welcoming & house keeping really taken care of you A nice away
My overnight stay here was quite enjoyable and a pleasant surprise. I chose this hotel for the low price so I was really impressed by the stylish accommodations. The free breakfast was really nice. They went beyond a bowl of cereal and container of yogurt with a made to order omelette and big piles of bacon. I even got a stack of silver dollar pancakes just because. The staff seemed happy to be there and happy to be of service. I would definitely stay there again.
Really enjoyed my stay here - rooms are nice with a pleasantly surprised surplus of electrical outlets, the TV allowed me to plug my own laptop in to watch a movie of my own instead of suffering through cable, and the free breakfast was *shockingly* legit two days in a row. Would be 5 stars, but the front desk management was a little lack luster. I had booked 3 rooms initially, the extended out the duration on one of them. They mixed up the check in for my initial stay, and then I had to check in a second time for my extra night. In both cases there was a some waiting involved for what seemed like a simple problem to be fixed. Would still come back.
A bit too high of a price tag for what you get. It's a clean place, but really standard room, with subpar sound isolation (both from outside and the hallways). Breakfasts have extremely limited selection, you can't really call it a buffet, and no variation. Location is fine for driving, but basically nothing is in a walking distance. Reception staff was very friendly. Cleaning staff had a tendency to be very loud in the hallways in the morning, waking me up several times.
Fun little hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and a good size. Was a bit noisy upstairs and from the extended stay business next door. Lots of nice quiet locations indoor and outdoor to sit and relax and chat. Parking is under the hotel which is nice and convenient. Location is slightly inconvenient bring so close to the freeway clover interchange but you get used to it easily enough.
Very friendly staff. Room was very clean and tidy. Hotel is interesting because it looks like they renovated an old hotel without replacing everything. Some remnants of the older simpler hotel remain, but still a nice place to stay. Complimentary wine, cheese and crackers are a great touch. Definitely would stay again
This hotel was not only the cleanest one we stayed in while visiting my friend in the hospital, but quality updates had obviously been done fairly recently. The decor was not my favorite but was bright and uplifting. The staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Thumbs up!
Pretty good hotel, decor was nice, breakfast was good. Location is a but difficult to get to. Staff was really nice too.
Staff is super friendly and accomodating. Not a ton of amenities and keep having some problems with my door key. But all around a solid stay.
I've stayed here twice and it's great! The staff is amazing. They're all sweet, accommodating, and professional. The breakfast is so delicious! Omletts made to order, Greek yogurt (with plenty topping options), sausage, potatoes, cereal, muffins, fresh fruit, bread (with toaster), fresh Starbucks coffee, orange juice, and cranberry juice. Great location right off the 85, Clean nice rooms, refreshments in the lobby, and snacks to buy.
I have stayed here in my maiden USA trip.
A decent place to stay which is 5-6 minutes away from Googleplex. Have lot of Indian restaurants just minutes drive away.
Room service is very good and rooms are well maintained. Very comfortable stay. Breakfast is standard and decent enough. Staff is friendly and helpful. Just beside Steven's creek a beautiful walk and bike lane for a good walk.
Has a Gym for good workout with clean towels and water ready. Also have in-house laundry service or have public laundry facility which can used by paying.
WiFi needs little improvement. Walls are thinner and can hear your neighbours. Issue with swipe key, don't keep it along with any electronic device it might need to be reinstated.
Overall not a bad place to stay.
Friendly service! Brita was awesome front desk clerk. Made me feel welcomed when I stayed there for the mountain view Wine festival. Breakfast was fantastic. They offer an omelette station that is wonderful. And all the other great breakfast food. You serve yourself, so there is no need to go hungry!! Would stay there again and again. Great rooms. Nice and big and very clean.
