Great staff! Our family booked 4 rooms and they accommodated our request to put us next door to each other. Close drive to Great America. Near shopping, fast food and still quiet. Beds are comfy, bathrooms clean. Breakfast is fantastic!

This is a very lovely hotel. It looks nice inside and outside and it is very clean. The breakfast could be better. It's based around donuts and cold microwavable breakfast sandwiches. The water temperature in the shower was finicky as well. Everything else was fine.

The Ramada Sunnyvale is a very classic 1960s style California motel. The rooms are dated / worn, but the service is reasonable overall. Very reasonable value for the price, but don't expect to be in a true hotel. The neighborhood is not the best -- it's located just off US 101 / CA 237. But if you need something cheap it's there.

Comfortable bed, reasonably clean (carpets are really old and tired). Complementary breakfast could be improved with hot options Perhaps some biscuits and gravy + eggs/bacon? The courtyard was beautiful

We booked the hotel as the best deal we could find in the Sunnyvale area. This motel style facility is very well renovated with attractively renovated rooms around a semi-tropical garden with pool. The beds and bedding are excellent, much higher quality than we anticipated. The room also had a good sized modern drinks fridge. The self service breakfast buffet offered great choices including burritos and Jimmy Dean sandwiches on alternate days. Bagels were "real", fresh and with a range of flavors and icings. Unlike most buffets in economy hotels the food was constantly refilled and freshioned. This hotel is a deal!

This hotel was pretty average. Good location, but the room was a bit musty. I had mis-booked my visit by a day so I did very much appreciate that they didn't bill me for the incorrect day which they'd have been justified doing.

The single event that made me want to write a review was as follows:

The checkout time listed in the room's information binder was incorrect (written as noon; apparently, in fact,11).

After the concierge lady called to the room to inform me I had over-stayed the checkout time, I confirmed the information I had looked up earlier in their room binder and took a photo.

When I showed it to her she smugly pointed to a printed piece of paper in the corner of the concierge desk that indicated the checkout time in the room books is incorrect Her tone made it clear that she thought my not knowing they had a such a note elsewhere in the building was ridiculous and unjustifiable on my part.

As an actionable item for management: you could surely just reprint that single binder page for each room.

Anyway, this is just about the only online review I recall ever generating In that sense this visit was remarkable

Clean room, good value. Rooms are a little tight and the layout is not the best. Pool is nice, hot tub could be hotter. Gym is very basic, air conditioning not working and the water cooler has been empty for the last 3 days. Regarding the gym, it seems if you are, hmm how shall we say.. rotund and key in a weight above 180 no excersise programs can be entered.

I read other reviews about an ant problem. What I can say is I found one or two very small ants in my room as well as the gym. So nothing too bad, but most likely a problem.

Breakfast was good. Lobby is nice. Beds comfortable.

Internet is good, rooms are large (compared to the UK), tidy and smart enough. No food available in the evening/at night though. Travelled on my own for work related trip.

Functional. I would describe this as a no frills location. It's generally more reasonably priced than most chain hotels in silicon valley but you get what you pay for. Rooms are clean and comfortable but many of them could do with refurbishing. There's a small gym and an open - air pool and a laundry (that was out of order last time I was there). There is a reasonable selection for breakfast but they don't have an on-site restaurant. Mercado Plaza is 5-10 minutes walk and has some eating options.

I stayed overnight for a business trip. I had a nice room on the ground floor. All of the staff I interacted with were kind and courteous. I would stay again.

Non smoking room smelled terrible, like mold and old. Door had nearly inch gap underneath which meant noise and smoke got in. Shower was ancient. A local gang was selling drugs in the parking lot and making lots of noise until 3 am. Multiple calls from many rooms to the front desk and police got no response. Internet was spotty and slow.

The good, rest of room is updated. Bed is very comfy.

This was the second time my family and I stayed at the Ramada Silicon Valley/Sunnyvale Inn and we kind of regret staying here. Our stay was for 3 nights but we could easily tell that our room was not cleaned thoroughly for 2 of those 3 days. All of our dirty towels were not washed and were left on the floor, plus we were only given ONE extra toilet paper roll for our entire stay. We even came back to our room one afternoon in a hurry to get ready for my sister's graduation and we found our bathroom door locked. After we called staff and they opened the bathroom door, we discovered that our towels were again not washed and we did not get extra toiletries. Overall, my family and I were not comfortable staying here.

The bad: Room had very strong musty old smell for non smoking that I couldn't get rid of even with air running. Very old motel that has been updated mostly. Internet didn't work. Bedroom and sink area have been updated but the shower is out of the 80s. Clearly on their to do list, but not renovated yet.Front lobby looked like a mixture of renovated and disrepair. Exterior door doesn't seal, large visible gap at bottom.

The good: Bed and pillows are very comfy. AC works well. Rooms come with fridge, hair dryer, safe, coffee machine, TV, phone, desk. As a cheap place to sleep, this gets the job done. So close to being a good hotel with little fixes. Nice hot tub.
