Nice area with lot of stores around the hotel within walking distance. Room is spacious and bathroom is nice and included SPA tub. However, the SPA tub does not work.

Mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, the amenities are fine - clean rooms, comfy beds, tasty food. On the other hand, my wife made the arrangements for me and my 2 teenagers to stay for part of spring break - 3 people, 2 queen beds. When we arrived in our room there was a single King bed, which, according to the woman at the front desk, was the original ask (why would we ask for a single bed for 3 people). She then told me all other rooms were booked and the next available 2 bed room would come available in 2 days. After my look of irritation, she went to the back room to "see what she could do". They "shuffled" some rooms and ended up giving us a 2 bed room (funny how it was suddenly available).

Then, they had half of the parking lot roped off for resurfacing, forcing me to park my car a quarter mile a way in a parking garage. Woman at front said they had no control over it as it was the Pruneyard management requiring the resurfacing, re-striping.

From the beginning, the staff have been very accommodating and friendly. I came here with a big group for a conference and we had lots of equipment and luggage. They had no problem accepting us and allowing us to utilize the hotel for our needs. The location of it is great as it's situated in a mall area with lots of different food options within walking distance. The overall feel of the hotel is excellent because of the updated decor and welcoming staff. I have had nothing but good things to say about this hotel so far, and don't even get me started on the cookies!

Beds are super comfortable. Staff is really nice and the gym is decent. Lots of things to do around the hotel. Many food choices and shopping options.

I really like this property. It's one of my favorite Double Tree locations. The hotel is nice. Some rooms have Whirlpool tubs and even fireplaces. Staff is attentive and accommodating.

I attended an event at this hotel in one of the conference rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sadly the coffee that the hotel provided wasn't good at all.

Tends to be noisy. A bit old and run down. Parking is challenging when the pruneyard shops and restaurants are busy. But they do try hard and keep it looking nice.

Everything outside of the noise from the bar was nice. I stayed in room 140 and on Saturday during happy hour the noise from the bar was *very* loud. I walked to the end of the hallway by the ice maker and it was still very loud. If I had known there would be so much noise, I'd have asked for another room. My flight out of San Jose is at 3 a.m. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a quiet room during any time frame. Remember that guests want a home like experience while staying at your property. When I'm trying to sleep at home, there aren't 50 people in a bar 30' from my bedroom.

Room service and other service could have been better. Also some of the amenities provided, the sit out area and like could have been better. No variety of food available

Nice hotel located in the Pruneyard Shopping Center. Comfy bed and attentive staff. Next time I'll ask for a room a little further from their bar in the lobby since I could hear it from my room. Will happily stay again.

This place was ok big room , nicely arranged. Just was just the bathtub was a little dirtier than expected. The service was very good. My breakfast was not very good They tried to hit me with a 20 dollar continental breakfast. When I can get a stake and reg breakfast for less. Or most hotels give continental free with the choice of add on breakfast items, Woke with a stiff back.

Needs work, given the prices in the bay area, I'd expect the restaurant to be great, but not the case here this place is old and had a superficial face lift. I'd recommend bull dozing it and starting over. With that, the people here are very friendly and excellent.

Our room was very clean and spacious. The furnishings in the room was very well suited for doing work in the hotel room. Table was very spacious, so you wouldn't feel cramped while working on a laptop. There was also a comfortable mesh chair. Hotel is in a plaza so there was lots of restaurant and even a Trader Joe's. The only disappointment for me was no complementary breakfast. Breakfast at the hotel was very expensive.

Loved their chocolate chip walnut cookies. Rooms were good, didn't spend much time inside though. I wish they had included in the $14 (free with Hilton honors) breakfast all the items outside in the buffet area but it didn't. You have to order the $20 meal ($6 with Hilton honors) to get the hot food with a choice of omelet, waffles, French toast or pancakes, but it seemed like they didn't not have an adequate number of staff to fulfill the orders soccer it took quite a while to arrive.

The hotel is cozy, not very big being only three floors tall. It fits the neighborhood well. There is a pool and fitness area however the spa is broken during my time. I had a double queen room which is very roomy. They have plenty of space to spread out. The room has a desk chair and a lounge chair with ottoman. Beds are as expected being comfortable and cool to sleep in. The rooms are not very well serviced between guests as I found food stuck in the seat cushions, the night stand was very sticky and junk under the chair. The power plugs are very loose and done items cannot charge when plugged in. About a third of the outlets I tried could not deliver any power. The staff is nice but do not stand out in hospitality. The front desk people did not inform me of a cookie being available to have until I saw others get one. But when asked they are great to help.
