My boyfriend and I stayed at The Normandy during our trip to DC and we loved it. The staff was incredibly nice and courteous. The rooms were so cute and comfortable. They came with complimentary bottled water, a nespresso machine, and a mini fridge. It was so handy for when we came back from a restaurant with leftovers. The location was great. A short, inexpensive lyft ride to anywhere in DC! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to DC

I really enjoyed my stay here. The decor is absolutely beautiful. If you like small boutique hotels in quaint accessible neighborhoods then this is the place to be. The deluxe queen was cozy and clean. The bathroom was very nice. My only con is they are doing some work in the front and my Juliet balcony was obscured by a painting scaffold and I woke up to construction going on next door. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I will be back preferably when it's warmer!

With all honesty this hotel was wonderful.my room was cozy, I also really adored the bathroom and it really added a modern twist to an old place. I'm more obsessed with the wallpaper and the lobby. It's soo cool and different and the staff are nice. Overall I would come back again.

Rooms and general ambiance are exactly what I want in a hotel. Small but not micro sized rooms which feel cozy. And the decor is well done. Great wine and cheese happy hour. Close to good restaurants.

Very intimate, gentle atmosphere. Stuff are the best part of hotel, as it should be. Rooms are clean, bathroom has all necessitates. Every afternoon is a Happy hours when you will find cold wine with cheese and other little things in the lobby. Nothing is problem. I felt like on summer holiday in the aunt's house.

Great boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and cozy, staff friendly and courteous.

Would appreciate a bit more offerings for breakfast, but all I'm all a great hotel and would stay there again.

This is my first day at the Normandy. This will likely also be my only stay at the Normandy. The location is relatively convenient for my meeting. Overall it is quiet however the walls are fairly thin and the room next stores TV woke me in the morning. The room was clean however there was no information about the local area and there was not even a TV directory to tell me what channels were available.

Kind staff. The place itself is a bit old fashioned and could use some additional renovation. It's clear that updating is in progress so that's good. Needs a new elevator, updated lighting. The bathroom in our room was nice. No bad smells, free wifi. This is a pleasant place to stay.

They have serious conscience amongst a fabulous team and keep regular temps above 70. My house sits at 82 ac or 50 in winter - unless I have guests. I booked a second unplanned night because I find it so relaxing. It is the first place I've actually relaxed in months. The 12 dollar breakfast is high quality, fantastic value, and worth the calm convenience. I look forward to my next stay - which could be manana!

We had no idea this hotel only had on street parking. So be prepared to walk and drive around a bit to find a parking spot. Hotel was very pretty and staff was pleasant

I will give the hotel 3 stars mostly because the lobby is boring and dated. But fortunately one doesn't spend a lot of time in the lobby. The rooms are updated and comfortable. They managed to make nice rooms out of an old building and they are very quiet because the building is solid. The front desk personnel are extremely nice and helpful, they treat you like you were at a five star hotel. There are espresso machines in the rooms, but no instructions one how to use them so it took me three days to get a decent cup of espresso. The one small elevator is very slow too, so I opted to take the steps everyday. The continental breakfast is fine except no fresh fruit and the coffee isn't good, but they do offer a large espresso machine. Another nice feature is that check out is at noon, so that is a couple hours better than 10 am.

Such a nice tucked away and quiet place. The surroundings are nice. The staff is so accommodating. It has been a good experience staying here. Will come back.

Nice hotel. More like an urban bed and breakfast than a hotel. Rooms are small but they have everything you need. Complimentary coffee, water, and tea 24/7. Wine reception each night in the lobby/common area if you are into that. Overall very pleased with the accommodations.

I loved this hotel. The hallway smelled funny, but the to was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We were even lent umbrellas for a rainy day during our stay. The neighborhood is great, and I would absolutely stay again.
