Parking garage is convenient and reasonably priced but it is VERY tight. Hotel bar and restaurant is good and inexpensive. Decent views, good amenities and spacious room for two. King bed was comfortable. The bathroom layout is awkward, very small toilet/shower.

Superior service. Elegant ballroom. Best brunch. Rooms are are comfy, cozy. Spend the night here in Washington DC every New Year's Eve. unbeatable value for food, music and lots of fun at the spy themed black tie party. Got my dress already.

Just needed a night away. Nice enough hotel, very reasonably priced, decent breakfast buffet. Gave us an "upgrade" with a balcony. Only problem was the door to the balcony wasn't sound proof. In dc, we heard every airplane and helicopter and car horn overnight. Half the reason for our getaway was some decent sleep which we did not get. Very nice staff and very helpful otherwise.

The location of the hotel is perfect if you wish to roam around the city. Federal Buildings are around a mile from here and easily walkable. My check-in was smooth and​ the room was neatly done. Although I was expecting a bigger room but it was still decent. Service was also prompt. I recommend this place

Very nice hotel, clean and has it's own restaurant, which was convenient. The restaurant did have a limited menu in the evening, but breakfast buffet was great, though it did cost extra and not included in the price of the room. Also if you are driving the cost of parking was high. They advertise $25 per day for self parking but add $4.50 tax which adds an extra $30 to your room cost. Also don't buy tickets for the On Off tours there, they charge $140 for 2 people for 2 days, and they want $40 in cash. If you buy ticket on shuttle it will only cost you $98.

Upon arriving in DC we had reservations at two Hotels: The Capital Hilton, which was quite expensive, but convenient to the WH; and the Washington Plaza, which was much less expensive than the Hilton. The parking at the Hilton was 59 dollars a day - valet parking only. The parking at the Washington Plaza was only 25 dollars daily - self parking. Our room at the Hilton needed a deep cleaning. Baseboards splashed with who-knows-what, carpet needed replacing, no mini fridge, Quite disappointing. Moving to the Washington Plaza was a pleasant surprise. Clean; beautiful view of Thomas Circle; amazing pool; nice bar and dining area. WP had it all over the Hilton, which was more than double the price per night. Highly recommend the Washington Plaza. A bigger bang for your buck.

I have one word for this hotel "Peaceful". I was so happy with my stay at this hotel. The staff was beyond friendly and attentive, the pool area was beautiful and the food was amazing. I went on this trip for my birthday and I really would advise any age to stay at this hotel. I felt like I was right at home. I plan on going back and I will only stay at this hotel forever now. For my first time in Washington D.C. the hotel left a major impression on me. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and even the valet parking staff were helpful with finding us cheaper parking because we had an SUV that could not fit in their garage. Thanks again, see you all soon!

Everything was very nice. Complimentary waters, nice rooms, great bathrooms. The location was great as it was just one street from the national mall and allowed you to spot out eateries on the walk to the national mall.

Came here for brunch on Sunday. The outdoor ambiance is really nice. But what's even better is the staff and food. Best kept secret in the city.

Nice, clean, comfortable bed but the rooms could be a bit larger. Really convenient (walking distance from everything) no complimentary breakfast. Parking is 25$ self/30$ valet + taxes.

We had 3 friends stating at the hotel for a friends graduation. We had drinks at the bar while everyone was arriving and having drinks. The staff we amazing, although I wish they would have checked on us a little more. Drinks were well priced. We got free chips. It was a great place to meet. The pool looks wonderful but it was raining so we couldn't go out to it.
