This is an amazing place of stay. The ambience, cleanliness and service provided is fantastic. They provide guests with complimentary breakfast. The stay cost is cheap compared to other places. I liked the stay a lot. I got to stay only for a night. Would recommend any student who wants a place of stay in DC.

Great, stayed in a ten person dorm for a couple of nights and the people I met were friendly. They have free breakfast and events in the evening for those interested. Additionally, they have lockers in the rooms which I appreciated a lot.

Good location, staffs are friendly, nice kitchen and wonderful breakfast. Room is clean, but the door is too heavy to open, and closing a bit loudly. Every bed have charger and small light, pretty good.

Really good hostel. 100% recommendable! Friendly and helpful staff, top location (10-15min to the Center/Parc), really clean for a hostel, breakfast was okay and nice people around. The only negative point i´d like to mention is that it is really cold in the night (I think just in the winter time), however they know it, that´s why they provide extra blankets in the rooms.

Had a great stay here for one evening. Check in was very quick and accommodating. The hostel was very clean, room was quite large, and breakfast was fantastic. Staff were kind in showing how to use the kitchen, and there was someone cleaning your dishes for you. My only problem is how loud / squeaky the beds are - I didn't get a great sleep due to my bunkmate tossing and turning. Other than this it was a great stay. 5/5

I enjoyed my stayed here. The rooms were extremely quiet and comfortable. However, the bathrooms would be nice if they would have some basic toiletries like shampoo and conditioner attached to the showers like other hostels. In all, the staff made everything worth booking for in the future.

HI always offer decent boarding if you are looking for a place to stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating and thwit prices are decent. Giving it a 4 star because HI Boston remains my favourite ❤ but DC is good as well 👌

Location of the hospital couldn't be better! Very centrally located and in a very nice area. The rooms are nice and the common areas are very nice as well. Staff was very friendly and gave great recommendations. Definitely recommend!

This hostel was clean and large, and the price was good for the excellent location. The bathrooms were fine, there were separate men's and women's ones on my floor. There were 3 showers and 3 toilet stalls. I stayed in a 10 bed female dorm and brought my own lock (theirs were $4 if you forgot one) for the large locker which was big enough for my carry-on suitcase, backpack, and tote bag. I didn't sleep very well on the bunk bed, however. It felt like an earthquake when the other person got down at 6am. The other guests were a wide mix of young and older, foreign and American. I slept through breakfast served 7-10 am so I can't comment on that. Overall it's not a bad option for DC on the cheap, if you aren't a light sleeper.

Definitely a better than expected experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful, starting conversations and answering any questions I had. It's located right in the heart of Downtown which made getting to everywhere easy. Noise levels were pretty good as well. Not as quite as a nice hotel, but better than even some motels I've been too. Had no issues sleeping. Well worth the price and a general good experience.

The staff was helpful, the dorm rooms were very clean and each bunk bed had its own personal lamp and many power outlets. They even provided locks for $4 for the lockers in the dorm room. The breakfast was good, and there were daily events held. The location was very good as well. The only minor issues I had were that the common washrooms should have been better maintained, and the WiFi was not stable; the connection kept dropping. I stayed here for 4 days and will recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap option to spend short time in Washington DC.

It's the little things--like neat bins for your food in the kitchen, plentiful shelves for your clothes in the showers, paper towels by the sinks, a locker, a light, and an electrical outlet for every bed. And then there is the genuine helpfulness of the staff. The housekeeping staff was watching to ensure that everyone remembered his or her jacket after breakfast! Who does that? The people are truly exceptional.

Good, cheap, clean accommodation. Simple but more than adequate breakfast and kitchen facilities. Clean bathrooms. Best aspect is its centrality. 15 minutes walk to the Mall, 15 minutes walk to the White House so great for tourists.

This was the first time I've ever stayed at a hostel and it was above my expectations. Firstly, the customer service was great. A group of us had made individual reservations and we needed to be moved to one room. I called to make the change and Francisco answered. He was very helpful and even took the time to email me to make sure that the changes were correct. When I arrived at the hostel, check in was a breeze, there were complementary 🍌s everywhere, the decor was cool (really dig the metro theme), and there was a wall of events that we could sign up for. For the price it's a really good deal, I would definitely stay there again.
