Beautiful hotel. Wedding reception was in the atrium, highly recommended. Clean rooms great service at the wedding. Great experience.
I had a company Xmas party and my company put us in a room for the night. It was very cozy and clean with pleasant hotel staff. Breakfast is complimentary and it was okay. There's a pool and gym there too. Overall i would recommend
Took my mother here for a special dinner. Louis our waiter was wonderful cordial and professional. There was a slight mistake and he rectified it immediately. A most memorable mother daughter dining experience for years to come. Thank you GK and Louis!
Beautiful grounds and very friendly staff. Love the location and convienience. The rooms are clean but do need to be worked on. The wallpaper was peeling back and the ceiling had terrible stains in my room. It made it feel a little run down.
Also, request a courtyard view room. This stay I was placed in a room facing the train station and it was noisy.
Went to a wedding here. Parking wasn't an issue once we realized we couldn't park in the transit lot across the street. The hotel itself seems massive. The ceremony and reception areas seemed nice.
Attended a wedding in the conservatory and it was absolutely beautiful for a wedding. Cocktail how was full of wonderful food and polite service. A great experience.
Had my nephew's Confirmation lunch here at Rod's Steak & Seafood Grille. Nice sized portions and the steaks are very good. Very friendly staff too.
Very nice place. Rooms were large and extremely clean. We went for a wedding and much to my surprise the food was delicious
Charming boutique hotel with so many small simple touches to make your stay enjoyable. Staff is well trained to provide hospitality, clean, great location, free WiFi and all the amenities without all the frillsand trying to nickel and dime their customers for small things which I really appreciate. Rooms are clean, however not updated or modern at all. I stayed here a total of 4 business trips and have enjoyed each stay. Thanks Madison hotel for your hospitality!
The Madison Hotel was a throwback from a bygone era in all the right ways. The oak-paneled lobby (in addition to all the other details) and attentive staff made the difference. The Conservatory is a one-of-a-kind experience that anybody planning an event should check out.
Great old hotel, incredibly accommodating, friendly, and professional staff. Was here for a friend's wedding and they made sure that everything in their control was well taken care of. Some of the room features could use a couple of upgrades, but SUPER bonus points for: continental breakfast included, a much better than average TV experience (no fooling around with stupid hotel channels).
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, and hopefully I have a reason to visit Morristown again some day, so I can stay here again.
We got it at an awesome price at last minute! It was a beautiful hotel directly across from the train. Staff was very polite. Quaint breakfast included. We will be going back:)
we had Mother's Day brunch at the Madison Hotel yesterday thinking it would be a good venue for 14 of our family members. How wrong was I!! food looked like it was leftover from another event from a few days ago; shrimps were slimy, oysters had turned color, roast pork was so dry that i couldn't cut it with a knife, pasta was over cooked and bread tasted stale. this was the absolute worse buffet I have ever experienced in my life.
service was almost nonexistence. employees were running around aimlessly and nothing was getting done. I had to call up the manager to get a cup of coffee after asking our waiter 3 times over 25 minutes. not a single person in our group had good meal. we will never go back there again, i am just writing this review to you all a warning.
I went there for Easter brunch at Rod's which is adjoining to the hotel. They always have an excellent spread for Easter. The hotel itself is very quaint with an historic feel. I love how it has that small town yet elegant style. It's also right across from a train station and (NJ Transit) so you could get to New York City easily. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating.
