I will write another review after I give it a chance again as a hotel guest. For my first night there, it's was average. Missing body wash and had to call for that. I also asked for late checkout at 1PM and was denied and given 12PM, I noticed right away the hotel was even at half capacity which I think they could have granted my request. Will try again and update my review

I really enjoyed this hotel. The place itself was very well decorated and very festive. It felt like a much more expensive hotel than the very reasonable cost I paid to stay here.

The onsite restaurant was a bit expensive but had a descent bar menu that I thought had better value than the actual restaurant.

All in all I would easily come back and stay here again.

I was there for business reasons. What I liked : the very confortable beds and the ability to turn off air-conditioning. I've to say breakfast was simple and qualitative . What I liked less and may not be important for you : difficult to eat a decent vegetarian dish at the restaurant No shutter to make the room dark. Overall I would go back there as it is very convenient.

I checked in for a wedding party alone on a Saturday evening and was told the room I booked was not available and that they took care of me for a newer “double room” instead of my king that I had reserved. The girl also gave me 2 complimentary breakfast coupons I was going to be here Sunday and Monday morning, and again it was just me. I go Sunday morning to use my coupon and they tell me it’s omly valid Monday through Friday. I told the girl at the front desk that is the supervisor about the mix up last night and she told me she would have to call and verify my “story” before she could do anything. So I’m now lying to try to get a free breakfast. She was rude and not helpful at all. I ended up getting an Uber and going to a breakfast shop. Over 1 breakfast she would not help me, was very rude, and I will not be staying here again. For the money they charge for this place the customer service should be on point.. seriously disappointed.

Just tried the Westminster's brand new restaurant, Marble & Moxie and it was fabulous!!! The atmosphere, background music, and of course the food! Perfect for a date night, celebration meal or just simply a delicious meal. They also have a bar/ lounge area that looked very lively with people having lighter fares such as burgers, salads and cocktails. The hotel also had a nice outdoor seating area that looked like it would be lovely to sit and relax with a glass of wine. Overall highly recommended Marble & Moxie at the Westminster Hotel!

Very nice place. Decent food for breakfast, bit repetitive after 2 weeks here though. Good fitness centre. Bottle King a short distance away. You might need to visit there regularly after the fist 5 days. Nice outdoor area by reception to chill out in the evenings, was particularly nice at the start of the summer.

Honestly the room was not great, but the hotel allowed an event to go until 2am. I had a wedding last night and was not able to sleep with the sheer amount of noise. Then, the group decided to smoke cigarettes inside. I informed the front desk four times and nothing was done. We were eventually offered the chance to move rooms (at 130am the day before my friend's wedding) and that room had a broken A/C.

EDIT: Went from 1 star to 2 stars since the Front Office Manager was helpful enough to recognize the issue.

Wow this place has changed. The place is still one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. However, they have changed the restaurant and because of they are not able to serve liquor temporarily. Thus as a meeting place it is sub par. Once they get it, it should improve. Lastly, they used to give a lollipops which was just a unique item. They no longer do that (at least in my room) and it's the little things we remember. What does a tootsie pop cost? Still a great place tostay.

The Westminster Hotel is a gem. From the rooms, and conference rooms down to the art in the elevators. Everything was oozed high end elegance without the extreme cost. I loved that it was so close to NY making my visit there much less stressful. I didn't get to sample the steak house as it was under renovations, but from what I saw, I definitely would like to! !

These are the nicest people around! Left my phone in the shuttle, and they came back twice to the office to make sure I got it! (First time there was a mix-up with the office reception.) Super responsive and helpful.
If you're going to be in the Livingston area, this is the place to stay. Clean, lovely facility, great amenities (including a swimming pool and gym), and free breakfast. And a great staff. Hard to beat that.

Westminster Hotel is elegant yet understated. Service staff are extremely attentive and helpful. The facilities and rooms are spacious, modern and well appointed in terms of essentials. Note that it is hard to spot the facility fromnthe road because of landscaping. I actually drove past it! There is valet parking for events and ample self parking. I highly recommend you consider it as the venue for your local or regoonal events.

Everyone I came in contact with was very friendly and pleasant. The king room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The shower control was old and hard to pull but worked and my coffee machine leaked. If you want better coffee either go to the restaurant or the concierge lounge. I had to wait for someone after check out and I was directed to the concierge lounge. It has a nice big TV and a nice Keurig machine that worked fine.

The attention to detail at the Westminster Hotel is second to none. This is a fact. I came in through Hotel Tonight on a last minute business trip to NJ and had an incredible experience the whole time. Their amenities are amazing and staff super helpful. Can't recommend enough will definitely go back!
