The place was nice, with pool facilities that were above average in quality. Very comfortable beds and rooms that had everything we needed. Pleasant hosts and workers. Only issues were worn and damaged items that were in need of repair. Everything that we needed to use worked fine.

Rooms are dated and the shower isn't great. The bed is very good though. But. If you want a lay in forget it as they seem to hoover around eight onwards and it is near a train track so at four in the morning a train will rumble past even occasionally sounding it's horn. Food and bar is very good and friendly. Having stayed here a week I don't think I would return or at least bring better ear plugs

I stayed one night, check in was smooth. I appreciated the chocolate in the room. the room was clean, comfortable. I was looking for somewhere to eat and hotel didn't offer any suggestions. Wish I would have brought a swinsuit as the pool and hot tub looked very nice. Overall a quiet stay, would recommend.

The staff was great. The rooms were very clean. The shower head was definitely my favorite shower head of all time. If I could have one complaint it would be ether the fan didn't work in the bathroom or there wasn't one.

Great location that is close to the interstate but only 9 minutes away from downtown. The usual 100 rate is well worth the charge. Lobby looks redone. The rooms are nice, nothing ultra luxury. A fridge would be nice in the standard rooms.

We did a couples get-away to Madison and stayed at the Sheraton. When we checked in around 4:00pm, the hallway to our room was lined with piles of dirty towels and dishes. The room was clean enough but outdated. We could clearly hear the exact conversation of the people in the room next to us and all night long, we had to listen to the man in the next room's hacking cough. In the morning, we had a do not disturb sign on our door, but housekeeping still knocked on our door around 9:00. The only redeemable quality about the hotel was the free shuttle to downtown that we used during the evening. Other than that, it was a very poor experience overall. And I don't typically complain about hotel rooms. In fact, I think this is the first poor review of a hotel I have ever given.

We were only here as guests for a wedding reception, though we did visit one if the guest rooms. The room itself was nice, but the bathroom walls and ceiling needed some work. Also, no fridge in the room. The room where the reception was being held was very nice. The service and food were very good (though the bartender we saw didn't know how to make certain drinks). Everyone seemed to have a pretty good time.

Stopped by the hotel bar for drinks after a show, nearby. Apparently other people had our same idea because the bartender looked a little busy. She did her best and was able to get our drinks in a decent amount of time. But, it also looked as though she was waiting on the tables and taking orders for the kitchen. That evening may have been an extreme case, although I'm sure the bartender as well as the patrons would have appreciated another person in the room to assist. I am sure a hotel bar is not suited to contend with such volume, but having another staff member to help would have been beneficial.

The room was clean and the staff was attentive to all our needs. One of the other participants in the meeting called the desk and asked about coffee. A friendly lady let us know that coffee wasn't included with our room but they could add it too the bill. We declined the coffee for the group. About 15 minutes later 3 of the staff came back with a free coffee from the cafe with cream and sugar for the person who asked about the coffee. It was an amazing example of going the extra mile. It also showed how a small gesture can make a huge impact to a large group of people. Kudos to the staff!

The bed was comfortable, linens soft, and it was very quiet in the room. The best part was a free ride to and from downtown Madison in the evening with a great driver. The downfalls included no refrigerator or microwave and the shower was on the chilly side, but i would stay again.

I only stayed here one night on my first trip to Madison and was expecting the usual average hotel-fare experience. The Sheraton Madison blew that expectation out of the water. I can be easily impressed, and my fiancee tells me she's stayed in much, much nicer hotels, but I thought this place was elegant looking, clean, and nice. The lobby itself impressed me. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and not cramped. Maybe I'm easily impressed, but I loved my stay here.

I was disappointed by a few things during my stay here. First, the rooms don't have mini-fridges which are typically standard. Then service at the bar or restaurant was not impressive, went for the breakfast buffet, but was barely given any attention such as if I wanted to order food or anything else. I was given coffee, but the pot they left on the table had less than a 1/4 cup of coffee in an no one came by for me to ask for more coffee, sugar, or to get creamer. So I thought I'd go back to the room and make coffee, I did that and the creamer I added was curdled so I didn't get coffee there either. Housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful, but would recommend going elsewhere for food. Beds were comphy and rooms were clean.

I chose to stay here because it is pet friendly and I couldn't make last minute arrangements for my dog. The staff is very courteous and always gives me compliments on my dog (sometimes treats too!). Room is very clean, the maids did their job wonderfully. Highly recommend if you're travelling with a pet. Also, convenient location right off a major road, and it's close to a lot of downtown attractions.
