Rooms are comfortable. Good beds. Quiet hotel. Nice rooms, but bathrooms are tiny Couldn't even open the door, as toilet in the way.
Shuttle service, when the hotel is busy, is a joke. If you can get a reservation for outgoing, you're lucky. No reservations taken for pickup, and the wait is terrible. Who can wait an hour for the shuttle? So, my husband (who had just had a medical treatment at the hospital two blocks away) and I walked back to the hotel in the cold, wind, and snow. Chill factor = 0. It was crazy. They need a specific shuttle, dedicated to the hospital. This hotel is supposedly owned by the hospital, so this should be a priority. Patients should get shuttle services when they are needed.
We just returned from another stay at this hotel, and, again, we were unable to get a shuttle to the hospital for my husband's scheduled treatment. We could either go over an hour early, or a half hour late. Unacceptable! Either you need to have adequate staffing of the shuttle, or the patients who are staying at the hospital while getting treatment at the hospital (which owns the hotel) should have priority over leisure guests who want to have a shuttle ride to a restaurant.
Loved the convenience to the hospital and the free shuttle service. Would recommend this hotel to all my friends. Rooms were nice but bathrooms are small. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Amazing hotel! Beautiful decor! A frig and micro in every room without having to remember to ask! A deluxe, restaurant style complimentary breakfast! WiFi with very good signal. Very generous rewards program..I quickly earned a free night. So much more for your buck than similar or higher end hotels. BW is definitely my new favorite!! 😊
wonderful hotel with very spacious king bed room. has all the amenities you would want including pool, private study area, wifi, restaurant, and location to University of Wisconsin hospital (5 minute walk to main hospital). Staff was friendly. parking was ample. prices are reasonable. would stay again.
This visit held some unpleasant surprises. My room did not get cleaned and there was no offer to correct it. Thus no shampoo etc..on Night # 2. The bathtub area had chipped tiles and looked old. The fan in the room ran all night and I couldn't turn it off. Unfortunately, I was there because our daughter was in the hospital nearby so I didn't have the normal energy needed to address these issues, and was gone 10-12 hrs per day, but at $200 per night, I had greater expectations. That being said, the pool and fitness area were above average, the roomservice and food excellent and the bartender and drinks top notch.
The Inn Towner Best Western in Madison is a 'god-send' to patients and their families. I can not say how much I appreciate the availability of rooms at short notice. The shuttle service is a great benefit to anyone trying to navigate the various appointments. All of the staff are helpful and friendly.
Convenient location to the hospital with shuttle service. However, shuttle driver did not clarify route prior to leave taking and so despite all occupants going to the hospital, we were taken to Union South first. Rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk service excellent. Only critique was shower water pressure poor and temperature inadequately hot. Overall, would recommend.
We enjoyed our stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. Our stay in Madison included an appointment at U/W hospital and this hotel is within walking distance and provides convenient shuttle service. There is a very nice buffet breakfast that we enjoyed both days of our stay. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Madison.
From the staff at check in to the lady mopping the foyer I seen smiles, smiles, smiles. The complimentary breakfast was very good and the food was served hot as to be expected. My husband went to the VA for surgery and when it was time to check out the gentlemen at the desk even showed great concern and wished a speedy recovery for him. I know at some point I will be in Madison again, and The Best Western will be where I stay.
Great customer service, the front desk gave us good tips on local food and entertainment, and a late check out with no question. The amenities were nice, and the staff was wonderful. They kept our room clean daily. Delta cancelled our flight due to weather and the hotel did not charge us our first reserved night, due to the fact we would be arriving late. Again with out question. It was a great stay, and I would definitely return.
Great boutique hotel with good location for lakeshore dorms. I little noisy on the north side. Would ask for a room on the south side next time. Good breakfast. Great coffee. Nice public spaces.
We are very pleased this motel is a very comfortable, clean, friendly staff, wonderful shuttle to US Hospital. Tell staff when you need to go to UW the driver meets you in lobby on time. When ready.to return to motel just call hotel (they give you card with the number to call). You better be close to door for they come within minutes. The buffet breakfast is great, restaurant food good pizza was great & price was great. This is the best motel to stay at.
We have stayed here before because of check ups and surgeries for my daughter over at American Family Children's Hospital. It is very close to the UW Hospitals and Clinics which is a plus. The front desk staff was very accommodating-we were checked into a room that looked like it was occupied and turned out someone checked out and left their stuff there-the staff was quick enough to find us another room right away. The bar was nice. Bartender was very friendly. The pool area was nice too. My four year old really had a ball going swimming. I give it five stars all aroundbut the only downfall was some guy who was either next door to us or above was talking very loudly between 12:30 and 2 amnot very courteous to those who needed to get up early to get their kids to the hospital for an early morning procedure.
Very nice. Within walking distance to both UW & VA Hospitals but they do provide a free shuttle service. Rooms are very clean & quiet. Breakfast Buffet is very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

So, my husband (who had just had a medical treatment at the hospital two blocks away) and I walked back to the hotel in the cold, wind, and snow. Chill factor = 0. It was crazy. They need a second shuttle, dedicated to the hospital. This hotel is supposedly owned by the hospital. Patients should get shuttle services when they are needed.
