Decent for the price! The room smelled a little odd, but it didnt last long once we got settled in. Decently clean, good location. Beds are a little hard, but overall, cant complain too much!
Rooms are very nice, but kind of small. Our room came with a mini fridge but unfortunately no microwave or coffee maker which was unfortunate given our week-long stay and lots of leftovers from sampling the many restaurants in the area. The shower had very little water pressure, and the bathroom was absolutely way too small for two people to be in at the same time. The location is great, nice and close to the beach and countless restaurants. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Always supplied service with a smile. We really enjoyed our stay here and would consider staying again, especially if they put microwaves in the rooms!
Awesome small boutique hotel, prime location, good staff and rooms are amazing for the price point.
This is a brilliant inexpensive hotel located only metres (1block) back from Ocean Drive. The rooms are clean and well equipped, free wifi with decent signal. Entrance lobby small but comfortable with a fabulous smell to greet you on entry. All the staff here work hard to make your stay stress free. Particular shout out to Chris W and Lewis front of house reception who went over. D above to ensure our stay

Nicer than I thought it would be. The front lobby/desk staff were wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.
Chris Wielandt was friendly, welcoming, helpful and took the time to go over and beyond regular job duties of a front desk agent. Great experience, beautiful rooms and decor. Top notch. Wish Hurricane Irma didn't chase us out five hours later.
The Kent is a quaint hotel in downtown Miami, walking distance from the beach. The lobby has a pleasant, incense like smell. The rooms are similarly sized to a motel, 2 beds, a bathrook, but with an additional closet, and mini-fridge. The beds are both nice, and the room is clean and stylish. The bathroom is small, but very nice. The walk in shower has plenty of room, and a large rain style showerhead and enough warm water for 3 people to shower back to back. The staff has been very helpful, and the room comes with complementary, and tasty, champagne! Overall, we'll worth the cost of the stay.
The staff was really nice and it was super close to the beach. I loved how vintage the hotel elevator was. Literally astound the corner from sugar factory so that was cool.
I had a wonderful stay other than valet having a nasty attitude & charging my card for days I didn't valetThe worker Chris at the front desk was so respectful & helpful with a lot of things Chris will be the ONLY reason I would come back to stay !! & housekeeper on the 3rd floor also was nice & cleaning was perfect from her EVERYDAY..,Shout out to Chris💯
Love the Kent reasonably priced and great Location!
I would return to stay here again. Very clean and accommodating. I would pass the word aroud!
We stayed at Kent hotel last summer for about two weeks and we were very happy with our stay. A good hotel with an excellent staff in a good location. At first we where very dissapointed with our room so we told the staff and they where very fast with changing our room ASAP to one of the new renovated rooms. We were very pleased with the fantastic service and help. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone thats going to South beach/Miami. Thanks a lot.
The Kent Hotel is a wonderful place to stay the night. The staff is friendly and you're given 20% off to dine, drink and smoke hookah at the adjoining restaurant. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, the bathroom boasts a beautiful rainfall shower with lovely stones on the bottom so you feel transported to another world in them. My one issue with the hotel is there's currently construction ongoing on a side street and you hear that pretty early in the morning. There's also know parking and so you have to pay a hefty valet fee or risk being towed for $400 like we were.
