Not that bad. I was with my wife and two kids and decided to wing it down to Miami Beach without reservations due to the high prices online. I tend to due this quite often because a lot of times the hotels offer better deals than the travel websites. This can be time consuming and stressful depending the individual. We went to the Beach for 3 hours after looking for rooms physically for 2hours. After Looking online for 2 hours while the family enjoyed the Beach, I still didnt want to pay for these outrages prices. But then, for something, I went to the car and this "HOTEL SEAGULL" was right in front of my car, so I decided to check it out, despite that almost all the hotels were almost sold out. My room wasnt 5 stars by any means, maybe 3stars lol, but I just walked in and made a reservation, same day on the 27th of December while it being there last available room and ocean front at that. Something like $160 a night, Very affordable for Miami Beach. At least at this place You get charge for the actual hotel value while at MIAMI BEACH!!! I looked online and it was more as always. You gotta rent the mini fridge($10 a day) my room was simple but clean besides the paint chips on the edge of the carpets along side of the walls. Beds were decent and had a flat screen with cable. They have Wi-Fi too. Not bad. Not bad at all

Wow! For the location, and the age of building, and the clientele it has to put up with This place gets my 2 thumbs up.. ! And I.. unlike a lot of the reviews.. Always think outside the box OK.. The staff is ultra sweet very nice The pool is nice.. Yes you have to walk today obscure area to get to it.. The beach right there.. What part of you're in a high traffic area in Very inexpensive hotel.. With constant turnover for less than 150nDon't you understand.. The beds are so soft. The pillows soft..there are no bugs.. No rats.. It really is a nice place.. OK.. Some of the building is old.. But it seems they really do try..! I saw some billion dollar one percenter bought it in auction on the 23tdstaff is very worried unemployment line is coming.. I strongly suggested this billionaire company keep the happy staff ! People.. If you want a $500 a night room.. Go shell out the bucks and get one! But this sweet hotel.. Needs a good review..for it IS a sweet find.. And I definitely would come back again and again! I and we're military ! And live at the Jersey Shore! I know all too well how cretins can ruin the local vibe.. 5 star hotel in my eyes 5 stars !

if i could of put a negative 1 i would. this place is nasty i mean the way their treat the cuatomers and they dont have parking is horrible. 100? per night ? dawm.. the rooms are not CLEAN.

The hotel awesome!! Very clean the employees very attentive!! Liz was very nice and helped us through out our stayed there!! Can’t ask for more!! Thanks to to Liz our stay was the best there!!

!!!DONT BRING YOUR KIDS!!! Don't come here. It was Horrible. Worst hotel. The idiots had a rigged up bed. The heavy bed frame fell on my friend while she was sleeping. TWO TIMES. The sink wouldnt stop overflowing and the ac was barely working. They wouldn't refund us or give us another room. Manager RAFAEL did nothing to help us. The number on the business card was out of service.

Their advertising is very deceptive, you will not get anything the pics show, water tub will not go down after shower,no a/c in halls, just in rooms, staff okay, they would do much better if they would invest time and money

This place is a drab. Literally!!! Customer service for one is horrible(lacking communication with customers), this hotel is like it is not up to code far as someone sleep or just staying one night. Looks like an old run down building that the homeless once used bc they hang out in the lobby and outside of the building. Not joking. Dead ass serious. They need a new management service and some restructuring in here. Only thing they have going is the new television and they are close to the beach. Felt very unsafe.

2 stars only because it is not too far from everything, cheap and nice staff other then that i regret staying here. I felt disgusted sleeping in the room for all my staff. Place is definetly runned down and the bathrooms are even worse. I had a great time in Miami but this hotel affected my vacation in a negative way.

The "WORST" hotel I ever stayed in my life!
Literally falling apart. Smelly and dirty hallways. No ethics or customer service at the front desk. No parking! Old furnished.

I went to free spirits, it is exactly what I was looking for. Angela, is an excellent bartender, personable and engaging. The food is great as well, I had a burger and it was better than I expected and one of the better burgers I had for a bar burger. I enjoyed this place so much I came back later in the night and got a couple more drinks and some hot wings, which I recommend highly. I have brought an entire bachelor party here and we are all very pleased, it makes for a great destination to relax and get away from the craziness of the beach.

I stayed here for the weekend and my experience was awesome ☺️ I only had 1 lil some issue but thanks to the manager Lizz Galo everything was resolved really quick she was very helpful, I really recommend this hotel for your next stay!! I know I'm coming back really soon!!!

First off this is the worst hotel I ever seen. The hotel is dirty as ever. The walls and doors to the hotel is beyond dirty. This feels like a unmaintained project building. The rooms was not properly cleaned. The bathroom still had someone else's hair in the tub. We was only given 2 face towels (one a piece)for a 3 day stay. When we asked the cleaning lady that was on our floor with towels for another towel, she said she couldn't we had to go downstairs and ask the front desk. I never heard of that. The most complicated part is trying to do my hair or even step into the bathroom without ants attacking me. There was Ants all over the place on the tissue all on the bathroom floor, just nasty I never seen anything like this. I will never attend this hotel again. I was afraid to buy a beverage from the vending machine. The other room we booked air conditioner fell out the window 2 times, when they had to come and put them back in. Also, the power was out in the other room for 3 hours, when asked to cut the power back on the guy said when he get to it.. What wonderful service we did NOT have. Never again don't waste your money.

Was a very sucky hotel as far as hotels go. Great for spring break though! (dirty, poor room service, no security, no bugs/mold!)
