This hotel is pretty cool. I didn’t stay here, but I attended INK! During Art Basel week. The rooms look nice, the staff seem helpful, but most importantly they have a really cool Cuban bar that makes a mean mojito!

I was here in holidays last year. I liked it, it was very tired and relaxed. We got towels from the reception and seats for the beach. The people there where very friendly. Near on the beach. I enjoyed it.

Perfect spot, but the bathroom had a weird smell to it. When they came to clean the room they didn't knock and just came right in when we was sleep.

I had a mixed experience with this. First, be clear of what's included in the happy hour. The bartender won't tell you and he charged me $45 for 3 damn drinks . It's a great hotel for art deco fans and interior decorations. The bar and parts of the hotel are Cuban inspired , others are with contemporary art. Our hotel room was spacious which I loved. There were things that needed updating- like the tiles in the bath room floor and the mirror who looked like it was dented. Overall it's a beautiful and quiet place.

Stayed here for my birthday this past weekend. Horrible hotel!!! The cleaning staff was not consistent with cleaning the room everyday. Someday we got floor mats other days we didn't. The lay out for the bathroom is ridiculous, it was small, no vents at all. The air conditioner was extremely loud. One garbage can in the room. The happy hour is a joke, you have to pay $1 for every drink, the bartender asks you back for the glass he served you in so that he can give you a refill.
So normally most hotels would give complimentary fruit platter or champagne if you notify them of a speacial occasion. When the room was booked it was specified in the comments section that we were celebrating a birthday. The day of I asked do you give anything speacial, the clerk at that front desk proceeded to look over our reservation and told us that she doesn't see any comments about that. We pulled up the reservation and showed the clerk, she said she would call us in a few minutes because she needed to speak with the manager. They called and said there's nothing that they can do because we didn't call them after making the reservation to inform them of the birthday celebration, and their reservation department is closed so they couldn't reach out to them. How hard is it to make a fruit platter, or give someone champagne or wine??? That's an easy fix. I guess you get what you pay for. Do not stay here if you can afford better. It's really run down.
They offer beach towels. The towels were very insulting. They are bath size white towels and that over 20 years old. Very dingy and plush at all. Invest in towels. All of the other hotels offer good looking towels. Those white towels are so basic and cheap quality. You guys need to do better, the industry is constantly changing and improving and you guys need to do the same. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone,response / report this review -

Great Hotel on a budget. My only complaint was the construction going on across the street however, I do realize that isn't the hotels fault. I stayed at the Dorchester with my sibling from April 2, 2017 to April 6, 2017 and i really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Amenities are nice. They have happy hour every night around 7PM at the hotel Bar. In addition, you get to use the beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach for free at their sister hotel. I do want to mention, and recommend something! I don't like the resort fee that the hotel charges you. They should just include it in the final price but overall, it was a great stay!

I did not stay overnight; I visited the hotel. Staff were friendly and location looks nice. There is a parking lot on the closes intersection.

This hotel was most acceptable despite it's high price. It's within walking distance of all of South Beach. The beds were comfortable and easy check in and check out

If I could give 0 stars I would. I didn't stay in this hotel because after a 24 hour drive into Miami I couldn't get in my room early so I had to waste my money to go to a new hotel. I am sick and just wanted to take a shower so I told them any room would be fine like anything. But they just told me to shower in the gym. Besides that the place doesn't look nice and the front desk people are rude.

The layout looked as if the hotel was built in front of an old apartment complex that was later converted into suites. I wish I could live in the suite we stayed in.
The breakfast was very nice, but lacked a Belgian waffle maker, which would have been great with the fruit they offered.
The pool was great, and the parking was well worth the extra cash at checkout.response / report this review -

Unique atmosphere, kinda run down, but seems to make an effort at staying clean. The $15.00 "resort fee" includes: wifi access, use of a small pool, construction storage room/gym for fitness, another hotel's use of beach chairs, and supposedly cheaper happy hour drinks at the hotel's closed bar (as in not open). Comfortable bed and cramped small bathroom. Reasonably located- one block from beach, not a lot of food choices close by, and good walk from general shopping areas. Continental breakfast is $15.00 and has pretty good coffee. This is not the Dorchester Hotel of London, England, but for staying in Miami on a budget, this gets the job done.Solid 3 out of 5.
