This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The views are fantastic and we were able to upgrade to a room with a balcony which made a huge difference. A very nice touch are the binoculars in every room, so you can look for wildlife on the horizon.

Clean updated room on 1st floor faced the ocean off side, but private and quiet with only the sounds of the surf. Excellent coffee, wine hour, cookies and milk after 6 pm. Staff so friendly and helpful.

It is probably impossible to get in or out of the garage entrance without damaging the bottom of your car.
They could at least put a sign up. Very unhappy about scraping my brand new car.response / report this review -

This hotel is next to the beach and to all the amenities that downtown offers. It has a warm pool and they offer you cookies and milk after 6pm (awesome!). Additionally they offer wine ( you just have to tip them). However, expect to be charge for parking lot and I recommend you to bring your own water and snacks because even they offer them as room service, they charge them as gold.

We booked a corporate event and stay here. The staff and accommodations were excellent and exceeded our expectations. The staff pays close attention to small personal details and goes the extra mile if/when we had questions/needs. On the corporate event side, Vanessa, Jonathon, and Kathy went above and beyond with their support and communications. We will continue to use the hotel for events and stays. :)

Beautiful location for sure! The views are fantastic, and sunset wine tasting at the rooftop bar is not to be missed. The staff was friendly enough, and service generally OK.
The rooms were decent, but not great. TV channel selection and info was not great. The mini bar was crazy expensive, which is normal, but I hate that. The fridge, also, stocked with stuff to pay for. Big fancy water bottles and such also that they want you to buy. This is a big turn-off for me, to pay $300 for a room and get them trying to sell me additional stuff in the room once I’m there.response / report this review -

Great hotel and spa. Not too many places where you can just walk out to the beach! Reserved King bed but a lot smaller than my king bed I sleep on. Front desk lady said it was and mine must be a California King, but that's wrong. Their king is actually a California queen. Oh well, still had a good stay

If I could say this is less than one star I would. I booked this through a site.
I had to cancel all of my plans due to the hurricane. This hotel would not refund my money. It was a situation out of my control. . Beware if you can't make it due to a natural disaster this lovely place will tell you to go scratch.response / report this review -

I would love to say the best things about The inn at Laguna Beach, but I honestly can't. It has always been a favorite of mine. A few years ago you felt welcomed, everyone was friendly (staff) it made the atmosphere cozy. Today it feels like every other chain hotel, it's all about money. You would think parking in the hotel parking lot would be included? It's $35 per day. I know it's not much it's the principal. If you're paying $400 per night for your room they shouldn't charge for parking.

The location is right next to the main beach in Laguna Beach. You literally walk out of your hotel to the beach. Numerous charming restaurant within a 10 minute walk. Complimentary wine in the evening on the rooftop just before sunset. The staff is warm and friendly. Adjacent to the beautiful California Costal walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We like this place, the location, etc but the extra charges are a bit much. $50 pet fee, $15 resort fee, $30 parking on top of a $300 room- and that was on a Hotels Tonight Village View room booking- so they don't reduce their rate or offer any complimentary upgrades with low occupancy.

The good - ocean view, pathway to the baordwalk on Main Beach, free cookies and drinks on the roof after 6pm, nice staff, pool and hot tub
The bad - outdated rooms, flies, clogged toilet and bathtub, slow Wi-Fi, thin walls and floors (though you could hear the ocean waves), unusual bathroom door that didn't lock

These people are first rate. Rooms are always immaculate and the front desk staff always treat me like I'm coming home. The draw to this place though is the sound of the surf crashing into the rocks at the base of the hotel. Absolutely priceless.

Nice place on the ocean, great views but not a friendly staff. I didn't get a good vibe from the place maybe because it was so cold and foggy for the two days I was there
