Good location and much better value than many other LA hotels. Just outside LA Downtown. 12min without traffic , 20 to 30mins with traffic. Located in the Citadel Outlet Mall do lots of open air parking. Small but good simple restaurant. Nice friendly staff.

The hotel itself isn’t bad from the outside or when you first get in, the appearance is nice. BUT the food is horrible, the staff are very unwelcoming, the first room we got was connected to another room which would have been fine if the people in that room weren’t ridiculously loud. We were moved to another room at first with a small bed and that room smelled like someone had been smoking in it, so we were moved to another room finally that had no connections and didn’t smell. It was a big ordeal though that would have been nice not to deal with at 2 am.
The pool is kept freezing(one of the staff said it’s kept at a warm 87 degrees all year roundright)
They don’t have covered parking and if you leave and come back in the evening then good luck finding a parking spot nearby.
I enjoyed the beds a lot and the pillows. So much so that I wanted to buy one. They told me they don’t sell their pillows at the hotel but I could order from the doubletree website. So I did expecting the same pillow(I even doubled checked the fill size and type with a few of the staff)however what I received was nothing like the pillow at the hotel, it felt much cheaper even though I paid 80 dollars for it and 10 for shipping(it took 10 days to get to me)when I said I wanted to return they told me to pack it up and buy a return label myself. So I would have lost 20 dollars out of this whole thing.
Overall I expected more for a hotel that is supposedly associated with Hilton. Very disappointed with this location and I won’t be going back or ordering anything from them in the future.

This place is horrible. It's extremely outdated. The pool was always freezing at night. Also the reception girl was ALWAYS bitchy.

The worst part however was the fact that they put us in a connecting room without notifying us. The people who stayed in the next room were yelling so loud at night I had to call the reception to complain. That did nothing. I had to go down and complain again. That also did nothing. Finally after going down again they switched our rooms. But they gave us full sized bed when we initially paid for king. Had to go down and complain again to be moved to another room.

The breakfast is outrageous too. The eggs did not taste like eggs. It was pretty horrible. Had to leave my plate full and leave.

Excellent hotel. Top notch staff, a step above other Hotels. Exceptionally clean rooms with good water pressure and hot water. Oversized parking maybe a possibility, call the hotel before hand to confirm parking options.

The service here was amazing! The people in the dining area remembered my coffee order and when I didn't have time for the full breakfast as I was waiting for my ride in the lobby they brought me a coffee just the way I like it without me asking. That in my opinion is going above and beyond. The hotel itself was a great home away from home and the restaurant was great I ate there 3 times every time something different every time delicious! The only con is that I wish they had a mini fridge in the room.

Walking in, I already knew that the hotel was top notch. I got good service and a good two bedroom room. My co-worker is a Double Tree Gold member, so we enjoyed the free breakfast and wifi.

I am a Hilton Honors diamond member that stays at properties all over the country weekly.

This hotel has an ant problem.

My first room was crawling with ants all over the bathroom and some in the bedroom. The second room does not have as many but have found more than a few in my bed.

The gym is excellent, best I've ever seen outside of a full service brand equipment wise but there is a line of ants crawling along the window sill.

Other than that, this hotel is desperate for a renovation. An outdated hotel is acceptable within reason, but a pest problem is not.

1/5 would definitely not recommend staying here unless it's free or they pay you to stay here.

Went for a wedding. Things I liked: Appreciated the interior decor the attentive staff that cleaned vomit really quickly. Good sound system and lights. Cookies Things I didn't like: The prime rib and salmon were over cooked.

Right next to an outlet mall. Perfect! Staff was friendly and brought me a fridge for my stay. Rooms are comfortable and have everything but a microwave, but that is just down at the front desk. They have a courtyard between the main lobby and the guest building, which adds a unique twist that separates the front desk, snack bar, and lounge/restaurant. Plus there is plenty of food and shopping right next door.

I was there recently for a social gathering for a work related event. The hotel grounds were clean. The majority of the time I spent in a meeting room. The room was properly air conditioned and tidy. The dinner was surprisingly good for hotel food. The salad with watermelon, feta cheese, cranberries and spinach was very tasty. The main course which consisted of chicken with a white gravy, potatoes and vegetables was very tasty and not dry at all. Dessert was a cheesecake with raspberries and raspberry sauce. Both the cheesecake and coffee that accompanied it were good. There's plenty of free parkingin the adjacent parking lot. The hotel is right next door to the Citadel Outlets which is a plus. There are an abundance of shops within a few feet for you to enjoy.

Good service. My NFC room key stopped working and they gave me a new one, a couple bottles of water, and a hot cookie. I was happy about that.

BEST STAFF EVER! We just had the most wonderful experience this past weekend at the Commerce location! Starting with Maria at the front desk, Ruby Ann & Derrick in the restaurant/bar, and Martin ( maintenance) - everyone was very helpful, friendly, professional and happy to help our large group! ( 15 boys/ plus coaches & parents in our water polo group). They made sure everyone was comfortable and were eager to accommodate all our requests! I would recommend this DoubleTree to everyone!
