Nice, cozy B&B. Secluded and quiet. Just what me and the hubby were looking for. Family owned and run. Staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms were small but adequate. Although there wasn't a balcony overlooking the lake from our room, the view was still pretty. We'll definitely be back.

We loved this place. Charming, comfortable, unpretentious and very reasonable. The food is delicious and portions are generous. This is a somewhat rustic country Inn with a beautiful rural location that is quiet and peaceful. There are no TVs or phones in the rooms (WiFi though) but the bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Those looking for a cookie cutter style Mc-hotel experience should stick to the Holiday Inn.

Stayed here for two night recently and the owner was kind enough to pick me up in Hancock as on arrival there, found there was no taxis. This was much appreciated (and on my return trip). The hotel has a lot of charm and character and I found the room I was allocated spotlessly clean and comfortable.

Fundamentally this is a great place to take time out of our busy live and to relax and is well suited for it.

I was also pleasantly surprised at the standard of food in the restaurant. I t was very high and at a reasonable price too. The service was second to none to the point where I tipped the staff despite gratuities being included in the final bill.

    Highly recommended

What a beautiful place to stay!! Lots to do for people of all ages, we really appreciated the peace and quiet!! Amazing breakfast! Friendly staff. Very accommodating. We needed to check in outside of their regular hours and they were very kind and helpful in letting us check in. Overall, we loved the inn. No complaints here! Can't wait to go back with the kids! :)

The room was dirty, the place is old and carpets smelled like wet dog. Way over priced ,the owner was very rude, food was awful. We had a service charge !what?Never again to this place. They are lucky they have that view. The pictures from the website are old this place is falling apart !!

The photos posted on line are obviously from years ago. This place is so run down, our room was a disaste!!!!.They also added a gratuity of 15% to our room charges without any notification is of this policy. We would never do this again. In our opinion, this place is falsely advertised on line as being very nicely kept up.

The place is charming and definitely has a homey feel. The location is very pretty. Breakfast was very good. I couldn't give five stars because it's not as modern as other hotels but I didn't think it was an inconvenience

We were just trying to find a place to eat while traveling through. It was getting late. When we got there we realized we didn't have any more diapers for our 2 year old. The owner of the place went home to get some that she had for her granddaughter. Who does that? Talk about customer service. The food was also very good. I want to note that usually I don't drink water when traveling. It never tastes good. But, I tried theirs, and it was amazing. We were informed that it comes from a natural spring. So, we will certainly plan to stop there again when we are in the area.

This 100 year old Inn has charm and character. It is a large bed and breakfast set up furnished with antiques. The owner manager makes you feel like you're visiting family. The rooms are small, but the bed was comfortable. The owner Sari says "it's like staying at grandma's." With all there is to do here it would be a great vacation spot.
