One of the best brunches I have had in this city! Amazing, don’t pass it up.

Excellent bar and bar staff. Food prepared and served in a superb manner. Attentive and efficient staff. Menu covers everybody (fish, meat, veg). We will be back.

Well decorated. Fine service. A bit over priced for the portion sizes but not comically so. Most importantly the food tasted good. The seafood was nice and moist and the flavor combinations were creative and well executed.

Atmosphere is formal but not stuffy and the food is amazing. I'd give it 5 stars but we were still hungry after appetizers, entrees and drinks and I usually get satiated pretty quickly. Other than that, loved our experience there!

One of the best in Charleston. Absolutely everything is local and done in-house. Small plates and shareable entrees make it very social.

Very disappointing. Talking with people afterward the word on the street is that the employees are not happy working there. The hostess was rude and my main course took 45 minutes after we had finished our appetizer. I made a comment about the delay and our server said it was my fault because of what I ordered. Wow what a way to talk to a customer. I told her that if I had known I would have ordered something different. She just shrugged and walked away. Food not worth bothering with and overpriced,

Fabulous seasonal veggie and seafood-centric menu. We tried all of the appetizers except two. The grilled peaches are not to be missed. We were surprised that we enjoyed the roasted chicken more than the Pilau. Cocktails were tasty but the wine and other drinks seemed a bit expensive for the laid back farm to table vibe. We would definitely return!

The service here is some of the most warm and personable that I've experienced in Charleston. The drinks were superb - we tried 5 different cocktails amongst us, and there wasn't a single dud. In terms of food, I had the peaches & ham appetizer, which was a bold and intriguing combination that I unfortunately did not enjoy as much as I hoped.

Really great chef makes some awesome dishes here! Expensive! Unique food and drink. Large portions you can share family style. Not for the faint of heart! Enjoy!

I usually rave about this place and will pawn off this bad experience to a poor wait staff.

Our waitress was completely inadequate in explaining the menu. When I inquired about the soft shell crab, all shr said was "the small plate comes with one and the large with three". That was it.

Regardless, we tried it and I would label it the most overpriced menu item in Charleston. I'm glad my date only got it as her entree because it was literally two bits. I had to split my barrel fish (highly recommend) just so her stomach would stop grumbling.

I will go again but will do so reluctantly.

Fun waiter - with a 5p reservation we had the place to ourselves. Offered some vegetarian options and we both enjoyed our meal. If you like being in the hipster end of Charleston, this place is for you.

Did the wine dinner at the Grocery for the Charleston Food and Wine festival on 3-2-17 . Hands down it was the worst, most poorly though out dinner we did all week. The wine pairings were terrible and the menu had no flow. They did not explain any dishes nor pairings. For $175 a plate I expected it to at least be enjoyable. I would never go back. The festival was incredible, but next year I will steer clear of The Grocery.

Great service. Fried oysters were great. Especially loved the frozen lemon pie. We'll be back for more of that!!!
