Food was only ok, kids meals very expensive for what you get, just because you pile a bunch of fries with a small amount of fish does not make it worth it. Breading on the fish was mushy not crispy. On the good side the view is beautiful, we sat outside. Our server was very nice. Just wish the food had been better. Want to want to go back but would probably explore to find something with the great view as well as great food.

Great Service and Great Food but the inside accommodations need some work. It wouldn't take much to make this place absolutely amazing. Just needs some updating and then the food will speak for itself

The patio has a great view of Shem Creek. I had the crab pasta special. It was delicious! I am not a huge fan of mixed drinks but loved the Tropical Punch. The hosts were distracted by their phones and lacked customer service skills, which I why I couldn't give 5 stars. Otherwise, I had a great experience and will definitely be going back!

One of our favorite places to eat on Coleman because of the view and location. We love to watch the boats pass by as we eat and take a walk in the park next door after. The food is okay (supposed to be Cuban I believe, but not really), but we've been coming here for years for the view. Good, reasonably priced choice on a nice day.

We had no intention of going to Vickery's. A friend recommended another joint in the area which was closed for lunch. We went to Vickery's by accident and i am glad we found it. The ambience, the waterfront view and atmosphere were great. Our server was very warm and nice. We asked our server for the appetizer best sellers and she recommended "Fried green tomato tower" and "Shrimp is Bourbon sauce". Both appetizers were great but i liked the tomatoes better. For entree, my husband tried the "Grouper" and i tried the "Low country sauté". Both the dishes were well made and delicious. We had the apple tart for dessert which was the perfect ending to a hearty meal. The drinks menu was decent and the prices were reasonable. Ended up spending close to two hours there. Had a great time.

Solid service and the food is affordable and tasty. The creek views and proximity to the Shem Creek park and walking docks make it a great place for families gives you something to do before or after you dine. This location has been here several years; it could use some sprucing up and deep cleaning! Best calamari ever!

Great views, but that shouldn't be your main selling point. The food presentation and service efficiency needs work. Not sure I saw "local" on the menu anywhere outside of the beer selection, which is a bit sad when you consider this is a seafood joint sitting on a creek famous for its local fishing/shrimping heritage.

Nice place, but run very poorly! Management does not return phone calls. We had our son's rehearsal dinner there because of the location. Both my son & I left messages for a manager to call so we could book the place. Never got a returned call. After my forth call finally got a hold of a manager and was able to secure the venue. Our group was about 40 people and they had two servers for us. This created a very long wait to get our dinner. Having worked in this industry, they under staffed our party. The furniture is worn out and should be upgraded. The food was only mediocre to boot!

Second time I've been there. Both experiences were great. Quick service and good food. Price is about what you would pay at a regular restaurant, but considering the location, I think the pricing is great. Other restaurants in the same location are much higher.

You can't beat the view of Shem Creek and the wonderful, tasty variety of items on Vickery's menu. It's the perfect casual lunch spot for a midday gathering. I really enjoyed the featured Southwestern Steak Salad. And if the Coconut Pie is on the menu, get it. Along with a fork for everyone at your table.

Intending to spoil my wife, I did a little driving around looking for a romantic-view restaurant. We both loved the view and the proximity of Vickery's restaurant to the estuary. But my wife, being a Margarita-lover, was exceptionally disappointed in the size of this drink. It's served in a small, 4 or 6-ounce glass like that used for a Vodka Tonic instead of the wide-rimmed, deep serving "Bowls" such as that of a Mexican restaurant. But we did not complain. There was not even a HINT of any alcohol in the drink. But we did not complain. We both found it humorous when a party of four, outside on the deck, were also served Margaritas and their ensuing looks of disappointment towards one another matched ours. But we did not complain. However, her Shrimp and Scallop Pesto and my Grouper plate were both very good but the expense of these two dishes, and certainly the Margarita, left us both scratching our heads as to why. But we did not complain. Our server looked like a homeless man, unshaved, unkempt and "dirty-appearing", like the Grunge look of the Generation X and like the other reviews here, seemed not to care about simple things such as keeping our waters full or bringing our 4-year old Ketchup so he could eat his meal, after being reminded FIVE TIMES. But we did not complain. Overall, the food was very good and in itself, deserves 5 stars. I now wish I would have tipped the cook instead of our lackadaisical server, for our $64 meal, although I think our waiter got the hint with his $1.00 tip. We did not complain butWE WILL NOT BE BACK.
