Soooooooo good. The happy hour selections were filling and priced right. Everything was extraordinary. The chips were acceptable and the friend green tomatoes with pimento cheese was the best! Definitely coming back to visit on my next trip to Charleston.

Good food, but it was missing the special touch that I give 5 star restaurants. It was pretty much OK and my shrimp in my shrimp and grits was unfortunately and shockingly over cooked. I didn't expect this from a nice place like Graze. Probably the best dish at our table was the chicken and waffles, but all in all, I think I could've made all of it. I give restaurants 5's if I think it's something I couldn't make. Go to Basil instead, much more refined, albeit a different cuisine, but high quality and service. The experience/service wasn't as refined as Basil either.

This was our first time visiting Graze. The restaurant is attractive and we were able to get a seat quickly. Our entrees were very good, just not described on the menu. In other words, the menu tells the components of the entrees but not how they're prepared or plated and we would have liked better descriptions to help us make our choices. The server seemed new and uncertain when we asked for clarifications. The foccacia bread that comes with the meals is delicious (but yet again we had to ask what kind of bread it was). We're used to servers that are more knowledgeable about the menus.

My family of three came here to eat on Saturday. As we waited to be greeted by the hostess, my husband noticed a few available tables. As we approached the hostess, she ask if we had reservations, we didn't. She stated that they were booked and gave us two options, to sit outside or at the corner of the bar. It was about 90 degrees outside, there were no other customers outside and only two iron looking tables next the front of the door that she was referring to. This is in a strip mall, so that was not a consideration for us. I didn't want my 6 year old son sitting at a bar. The hostess did not give us an option to wait nor did she say how long a wait would be.
Disappointed, offended, and livid, we left. As soon as I got in the car, I called Graze and asked how long is a wait right now for a party of 3, the guy placed me on a brief hold, came back and said 30 minutes. I said ok and hung up. I called right back and ask for the manager, I explained to him what just happened to us. The manager said, the last time he checked, the next opening was at 8:30. That time was literally 45 minutes from the time we arrived, typical wait for a Saturday in Mt. Pleasant. The manager did not offer an apology or a resolution to our problem.
We have eaten here once before and felt unwelcome. We decided to try it again to assure ourselves that this is truly the atmosphere here.
I have thought of many possibilities as to why this happened to us. Maybe this was a case of the hostess being uninformed; I doubt it. Maybe those seats were reserved for others who had reservations; Perhaps. Maybe if we hadn't experienced a similar situation at our last visit I would feel differently; Absolutely. Maybe if our faces were White, I would be writing a totally different review; Definitely.

Good is always good and consistent. We love the scallops over risotto and this time tried the shrimp and grits, which were excellent. The service was very good.

Soup great, my husband enjoyed the chicken and waffles. The lobste mac & cheese was so salty, I couldn't eat it. Has been delicious in the past. I'll make sure to request easy salt in the future.

Easily one of the best places I've been to. I'd always heard that you may only dislike some ingredients because they weren't cooked properly, and my meal proved this theory. I ordered cornflake crusted catfish with a tomato-onion jam on butterbean succotash and the blend of flavors blew me away.. And I hate tomatoes/lima beans!! If I'm ever down in SC again I will absolutely come back!

We were pleasantly surprised at how good the restaurant was. We just happened to go here bc we were staying in a hotel around the corner the food was delicious! The fried pork chop may have been the best I've ever had, aside from my grandmother's. We will definitely visit here again the next time we are in town.

The food is amazing and reasonably priced. Service is excellent. A quality bar. A bit of a shame that it is located in a strip mall but we still love it.
