Service was amazing. They had the yummiest muffins for breakfast in the morning. The staff had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.
Beautiful old house, good location. We had a nice room with good sunlight. Nice porch for enjoying breakfast. Okay breakfast. Only drawback was musty smell in room.
The Cordova Inn was a clean, quaint place to stay. The furniture was beautiful and the bed could not have been more comfortable, with clean crisp white linens. The staff was more than helpful and happy. I would definitely stay there again.☺
The staff was delightful and so was the ambience. Has a great vintage/modernized look to it. For the price, I definitely enjoyed the place and would come back.
I loved my stay at The Cordova Inn. I think its important to know what to expect here, and if it suits you you'll enjoy this place, as I did. It is one of the lowest priced hotels in the Northeast district of St Petersburg. The hotel has been updated, but retains much of it's 1920's charm. My room was spacious enough for me, and nicely decorated. It had a flat screen TV, a desk, and the bed was comfortable. The window air conditioner with digital thermostat kept the room nice and cool. Room service and towel exchange is by request, which was fine with me for my weekend stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The Continental breakfast was standard, and satisfactory. The veranda, with its white stucco arches, rocking chairs, and wrought iron tables and chairs was very inviting and cozy. Guests seemed to enjoy congregating there. Again, I enjoyed my stay at The Cordova Inn, and would recommend it strongly. Just don't expect it to be the Hilton, but a charming old hotel, with friendly staff, at a very reasonable price.
Great little gem. The room is beautifully designed. The feel of the building was just cool. That building has some great bones. The staff was fantastic, the breakfast was decent and it is one block from the sundial and just a couple blocks away from the other restaurants on central. We were lucky to find this place after losing other cause of the hurricane. With the price we paid, id definitely stay again
Room was clean a nice however the door doesn't shut flush on top, leaves a small gap. The a/c works fine just super loud when trying to watch TV. Bed was comfortable. They need better blinds to restrict light from entering. Overall not bad, convenient to downtown.
The first room we were given smelled like mildew. We switched rooms and it was much better. The bathroom is just big enough to turn around in so bear that in mind if you plan to stay more than one night. The price was right$89 per night but you get what you pay for. Also, the front desk girl, Kayla, was super nice and helpful. They shut down the front desk at 8:00pm so you are on your own if you lose your room key (we did) or anything else happens. The owner lives off site so there's that. It's in a good location and affordable so if you're on a budget you may not mind staying there.
4 of us shared a room at the cordova. The bathroom was tiny and the window didn't open and there wasn't a fan in the bathroom so we all agreed to do #2's in the hallway bathroom. It made it kind of uncomfortable. The room was newly remodeled and was extremely clean. It always smelled of clean linen. There wasn't really a view from our room either, but i really liked the history of the Inn. I liked how they kept all of the old furniture as well. I would have liked it if there was a light above the mirror in the room so i could have gotten ready in a bigger space. The staff was friendly and accomodating. Kayla was extremely nice and we all really enjoyed her warm welcoming personality. Every night refreshments of wine and cheese were supplied for us from the locale market a few blocks away. Every morning fresh coffee and breakfast was always waiting. We will all come back to the cordova when we come back to St. petersburg. All 4 of us liked the atmosphere, location and all around feeling of being treated like family.
This placd is so cute and charming. It was built in the prohibition era and still has many of it's original features. The part I was most excited for was ghe beautiful claw foot tub! (If you would like a claw foot tub, make sure you inquire about it, not every room has one)
The rooms are smaller than most are used to, but still plenty of room for the two of us. After all it is vacation and we did not intend to stay in a whole lot.
Continental breakfast is included every morning, and on Friday nights they provide a complimentary charcuterie board and wine!
The only downside to the Cordova Inn is that the walls are somewhat thin. If you are a light sleeper, or like to sleep late, this place may not be for you. Other than that, it is amazing! Totally charming and adorable, and a cool part of St. Pete history :)
The location was really great because we had Jannus and the Dali museum within walking diatance along with a ton of restaurants. The room itself wasn't really practical. The shower/tub was really hard to get in and out of (way too tall), and there wasn't a mirror in the bathroom that was of use, it was to the side of the sink, and it was too tall for me to use even if the sink wasn't in the way. The ac units are old fashioned and are awesome, we loved having our room so cold (it can go really low) after walking everywhere all afternoon. We didn't like that there weren't any vending machines and we didn't have ice and water accessible or a fridge to bring leftovers or something to drink. Not a bad place to stay if those little things don't bother you.
Such a cute little charming place. Right in the middle of it all. Staff super friendly! For those of you that enjoy a vintage vibe you will love this place. Especially loved the claw foot bath tub!
Stayed here last weekend and was a bit disappointed. The location was really great and is a real perk of this place but not much beyond that. The floor boards creaked as you walked, the bathroom was extremely small and difficult for even one person to fit in, the walls were very thin and you could clearly hear everything around you, and very limited parking. Overall the room wasn't very inviting and didn't have a comfortable feel. Great location but lacking in accommodations excluding the few provided breakfast items. Wouldn't want to stay more than one night here if deciding to stay here.
