Clean and neat. Has a cute little fish pond. I like their key in lock doors better than the card keys at other places I've stayed. Pretty old fashioned, but it gives it a good feel. Would be 5 stars but the mattress was hard as rock and I woke up with such a pain in my right shoulder that I couldn't move it.

Friendly at first. The room smelled like someone had just smoked a bunch of marijuana in it. Very very strong marijuana smell. We actually went and bought a candle to help the smell. Then we go to the front desk to ask for towels and rags. And the guy proceeds to tell us he can't give us any because he doesn't have access.. every motel I have ever stayed at, you could simply ask for the towels and rags. But not here. It really ticked us off. Waited 14 hours for him to "find" the towels and yet still nothing. Very disappointed in this place and would not recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at Stratford. The hotel was clean, staff was nice, and we were near restaurants and a Starbucks. The wifi worked well and we found out they had breakfast every morning.

I visit the Stratford Motor Inn every August for a family get together. The staff are always friendly. The rooms are clean, and the pool is perfectly maintained. I highly recommend it for staying in Ellijay. It's also in a great location. Minutes away from Walmart and restaurants.

I stopped here for a night on my way to Atlanta. Nothing too fancy, but very clean. The beds were comfortable and overall the place is very decent and fair for the price you pay. The parking is limited but the staff was very helpful and willing to let me park close by. The pool was good and clean. A good place to rest and stay.

Our one night stay was great! Comfortable beds, clean, all the amenities anyone could need. Breakfast wasn't expansive, but just enough for what we needed. Grounds are clean and well kept, even has a beautiful koi fish pond. Excellent price, and way more value than you would expect from a low-priced motel. We would stay there again.

My mom and i were going through a tough time bc we just left my stepfather.long story short they understood and they helped us. They also have very sweet staff and the rooms are clean and the breakfast is great.

We stayed here for almost a week and it was just we were looking for. It was cheap, clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. I would say the worst part was the breakfast they didn't haven't have too much to choose from but for the price it was fine and we couldn't get the wifi to ever work.
