The food, atmosphere and service is great!

We almost drove right past this place! Luckily, my wife saw it as we drove by. Casual atmosphere with very good service and wonderful food.
We had the calamari appetizer which was very good. I had the smothered grit cakes, and they were superb. Nice find in Albany.response / report this review -

People are nice. Portions are small and way over priced. Crab cakes were burnt on bottom. Not impressed with food, but blueberry cake was wonderful.

Food and service was great! Would have giving it 5 stars, but it's very pricy for Albany and by not offering any type of view's. (Water, mountains, golf course, etc;)

Excellent resturant. Don't let the looks cool you. Restaurant worth the trip. Very unique menu with very surprising combinations. Wish we had found this place earlier in the project.

The service here is great the food, not so much. Ordered oysters Rockefeller and they smelled like a dirty wet rag for some weird reason. Couldn't down them and ordered fresh gulf shrimp instead. They were so fesh that they were cold, like they had just been taken out of the fridge. I got five cold shrimp on a half cup of lettuce.

The best Seafood in Georgia. A must eat while visiting Albany. My favorite, the Shrimp N Grits.

Calamari was excellent, along with steak topped with shrimp. Nice portions. The only complaint was the Crab claw appetizer. Crab claws are on the extremely small side, you don't get all the claw meat, for the price. Service by Anthony was excellent.

I had the shrimp bucktown and it was too salty for me. I also had the raw oyster on the half shell and calamari and it was wonderful.
