I would advise anybody that comes to this hotel not to stop prices are too high service is bad and your breakfast is only got cold waffles toast and bad cereal. Yeah it's not worth your time to stay here for the cost.

The only reason I am giving a 1-star at this hotel is because I have to in order to complete this review.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. DO NOT STOP HERE, KEEP TRAVELING.

    1) When I arrived from traveling, it was 1:30am, I was exhausted and wanted to sleep a few hours. The price seemed fair, $63.23.
Originally, I had reservations in the next city, Albany GA but I was too drained to keep driving. After checking in, the guy insisted on my credit card, but I stated "No, I'm paying with cash." As I looked around , I saw papers tossed every where in the front lobby behind the checkin desk. Surely, I didn't trust this small town motel with my credit card. So after receiving my keys, I was told to insert tge key and pull the latch up. Are you serious? PULL THE LATCH UP. Ok, I thought maybe tge maintenance crew installed the latch incorrectly. So after entering the room, first I go to check: I found

    1) In my beds there I found a string of hair in my bed

    2) . I pulled back the top crease of the mattress, I found bed bugs. Yes, BED BUGS.

Other things I observed before checking the bed..

    3) There were BLOOD on the bath towel.

    4) Some of the lamps in the room were not functioning properly.

    5) Not to mentioned the room appeared moist and smelled like mildew (normally this is an indication of a leak under the foundation or it has been flooded)

    6) and there were rust in the bottom bowl of my toilet and rust in my sink.

I phoned the front desk. The gentleman on duty, assuming he's the hotel owner was rude and non-chalant. While trying to tell him, he would not listen and attempted to elevate his voice and out talk me so I kindly informed him that I was disconnecting the call.

and I did. * Yes I did take pictures.*
Did I hurry to get out of that place? MOST CERTAINLY.

So now you have my review. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. If you are a frequent traveler as I AM, it is best to stay awake and drive 30 more miles to the next city, Albany GA and get a much descent hotel for your money and better upscale customer service.

The experience was TERRIBLE!!!!!!! Please people do your self a favor and DO NOT COME TO THIS HOTEL. Unless you like toilets with urine stains, walls with food on them, I can't forget to add the dirty pillows that had not been washed. We where also over charged and could not even get towels to wash at night. The owner is very rude and should not be running any establishment. If this business is at all good in any way this hotel is ruining your reputation by treating people unprofessionally.

Four stars for convenience when we are in Dawson! The inn is dog friendly and the owners are very nice. Rooms are old but clean. Best coffee!

Decent enough hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The bed is not the most comfortable but I slept fine. My room had a good tv with all the good channels. Can't beat it for the price.

We stayed here because they had availability when most in the area were booked for a marathon, and because they were pet friendly. I liked that there were woods by the hotel, and that the refrigerator, microwave, and wifi worked. But the carpet was stained, bathroom floor wasn't clean, and the counter needs to be replaced. Heard every step that the person above us took.

We were here for a funeral, booked online and arrived at 11 pm, had verified it was pet friendly but there was nowhere to say that we had pets. When we arrived at 11 pm we were exhausted and didn't remember we hadn't told them about the pets, and since it was late they had locked the door to the main lobby, which had a sign that said there's an extra $30 charge for not telling them (in addition to the $15 per pet per night, which is not pet friendly and is certainly not mentioned on the website). The next day they saw us walking our dogs (we obviously weren't trying to hide them) and that night when we got back exhausted and needing to sleep, they had deactivated our key cards and made us pay the pet fees before they would let us in, and were rude. He did give us a discount on the pet fees though.

Love this place been here for over a month still have about 3 weeks left to stay here the owner and his wife are absolutely the best will do any thing they can to help you. They are absolutely great people. Couldn't ask for better people. The rooms are nice and clean beds are comfortable. The cleaning lady is nice. This hotel is all the way around a good place, I really enjoy staying here.
