Wonderful experience tonight with an absolutely impeccable meal. Veal Osso Buco was superb! If you are in search of ambience, character, great service and food for the discerning customer, then look no further "Spats at the Blennerhassett Hotel".

One of my favorite renovated old hotels. Odd place but worth a visit. Old timey. Better than expected restaurant and cozy bar. Live sane music too.

I can't say enough good things about this place! We accidentally left behind a much loved teddy bear after my family spent the night. The staff not only mailed the bear back to us, they sent us pictures they had taken of the bear in various spots around the hotel, enjoying his "stay" before he was sent home. Not that is really going above and beyond! It made our day when we got the teddy back with the pictures. Not only is the staff wonderful, but the hotel itself is charming and well appointed, and the restaurant is excellent. We spent the night because we were just passing through, but we will definitely be back!

Beautiful hotel and friendly, helpful staff. However, do not expect a restful and relaxing atmosphere. Although the granduer of the building is extraordinary, the walls and windows are paper thin. Conversations in the rooms spill freely through the halls and walls. On top of that the wedding reception that is in the ball room may as well be in our suite. In addition, one of the main roads through Parkersburg is next to the building and traffic and tractor trailers blast all night. loud hotel from all corners. So much for a quiet weekend

Great experience. Staff are wonderful and the property is amazing. Our room was very clean and inviting. We love this town's history, and staying at The Blannerhassett allows guests to be part of that history.

Bang for the buck, 100% worth every penny. I had not one complaint and I travel almost every weekend in the summer months. Posted some room service photos of my great dinner. Highly recommended if you are traveling in this area.

What a nice place. The wife and I were passing through the area on our return trip from Gettysburg pa to Indiana. Met a nice couple and drank beers on the patio during the 2017 solar eclipse. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dinner was excellent but maybe a little small on portion size for me. I'm a big eater. But still great taste. Room and shower were perfect. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Reminds the wife and I of French lick Indiana on a smaller scale. I can't imagine being disappointed in this place. Check it out and compare prices of standard hotel. Spend a few extra bucks. And enjoy the stay.

We were here for one night. Great staff, beautiful facility, nice bar and patio in addition to first class dining area. Our dinner was beautifully presented. Excellent wine selection. Attentive service without being overbearing and same sentiment applies to breakfast. This was our first visit but we hope to return for one of their special event dinners.

The hotel was beautiful! It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Parking was hard to find at times but the free valet service was a wonderful touch! The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the price was great! I would suggest The Blennerhassett Hotel to others visiting the area!

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were in a room facing out over the road , but traffic noise wasn't too bad. The Starbucks location in lobby is a nice touch. Would stay here again.

I got married at the Blennerhassett. The staff pays close attention to detail and hotel is very clean. They have Sunday brunch, room service, and a nice bar and restaurant area. The decor is classical and elegant. The specialty suite rooms are amazing. The price is moderate, but well worth it. They also have a Starbucks and valet parking. On New Years they have a dinner and events throughout the year additional events.

We were there for a reception. A variety of cheeses And a cash bar before dinner. The bartender could have used a helper but he was great. Our waiter was wonderful. The food was delicious. Not a single complaint. Kudos to the amazing and friendly staff all from the moment you walked in the door.

The room was very nice. The staff was courteous and polite. There were plates (not ours) left on the hall way floor for a long time after we notified the front desk. That didn't smell very good.
The menu left a little to be desired. The food was OK, not great.
I know we will return, I just hope the food service improves.response / report this review
