  Absolutely love this lodge. We stayed here last week for three nights. The restaurant at Mountain creek is amazing! The staff is so friendly. The food was better than any fine dining we have had on a cruise. The scenery is amazing. Overall a very relaxing vacation!

  Amazing. I don't think there is another place like this anywhere in the country. The lodge is only accessible by a tram that takes you down a mountain. The lodge is by a creek. It's built in the mid-century style inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright designed to put one in touch with nature. Accommodations are simple and it's showing age but it's cozy. There's a gourmet restaurant where one can dine while watching deer drink at the creek.

  Not good. I didn't go in the lodges, but i did ride the tram. It got stuck on my way back up to the top of the mountain. It was in the middle of the summer and it was hot. It took about 30 minutes for the workers to do something, the ended up sending someone named Matt to the top of the towers and fix the cables. In my one hour experience i got to see the writing scratched inside of my trams windows. My favorites included the words "I like crack" and "butt sex". I'm not kidding. This is not appropriate. I could also tell the trams were very old because a date from 2005 was scratched into the windows as well. And when they did start to fix the cables and bring us back in, the cart had a big bump and was swinging on the way in. I thought the tram was going to fall and my dead body was going to tumble all the way down the gorge, into the creek. Although when I was stuck I got a spectacular view. This wasn't a good experience at all.
