Very nice for the price. The rooms were small and we had to move some furniture to find electric outlets, but everything was neat and clean. Staff was professional and helpful. They had luggage storage on the ground floor, though I wouldn't leave valuables as they just give you the key to the room and let you stash/grab your stuff. Overall, we were very happy with this establishment!
The Belnord was perfect for a nice five day getaway from my husband and I. The rooms are small, but it's actually quite impressive for what they are able to do with the space, and they are very clean. Also, we were only in our room to sleep, and the beds were comfortable and it was quiet at night. The price is hard to beat, and that was the main reason we stayed. Close to the subway, restaurants and shopping. The staff were very friendly as well. If we find ourselves in NYC again, we will be coming back!
We were in the bunk bed room. Small but perfect for two people needing cheap accommodations. Newly renovated so everything looks nice. Not a 5 star hotel by any means but for a cheap hotel in nyc we couldn't have asked for anything more
Loved it. Perfect location. Perfect size. Didn't have to gather up my things from all over a big room. Wonderful staff.
Wonderful budget hotel in Upper West Side. Rooms are small (we had a bunk-bed room), but clean, air-conditioned, great showers and a TV for every bed.
Location is great. Just a 10 minute walk to Central Park, great places to eat nearby and subway line 1 is just around the corner.
I can recommend this hotel for anyone visiting NYC with a budget. It beats AirBNB big time.
Beret clean and tidy, both the bedroom and the bathroom. If you are looking for big, spacious room it is not for you but as a place to sleep over the night is perfect. At the reception people are helpful and very open. Great place in middle Manhattan.
The hotel seems to be recently renovated which was better than expected and the same goes for the room. The room we stayed in was tiny but that much could be expected from a new york hotel. The hotel staff comes by several times a day to clean the room and trash disposal. Overall id say its a pretty good choice to stay
Small but Quaint!! Great Staff and Great Cleaning Staff!!! Everyone is friendly and professional We were in walking distance of everything including a 2 min walk to the subway!! Our room was very up to date and the location of the hotel felt safe and inviting! 5 stars!!
Over a series of phone calls I had to explain what customer service is. I forgot my computer charger which was completely my fault. I sent them a prepaid box the day I returned home (domestic) and it took about 3 weeks to get it back. No one would own the situation to help me verify the charger was located nor did anyone take charge to make sure it was sent off. If you don't become a drill sergeant you probably won't get what you need if you are not there in person. They probably would have continued to blame the mail guy for not grabbing the package if I hadn't called everyday at week 3. I had to call to follow up ever step. Very frustrating service.
Nicely renovated. Nice if you want to be in a more residential part of Manhattan, away from touristy midtown. Small, but not bad if you're used to European hotels.
I am staying here during a trip to NYC. Small rooms, but very clean and tidy. Extra area to store food in a fridge and get tea and water. Location is top of the notch!
Very clean. Quiet rooms. No street noise. Great midtown location. Red line subway one block away. Small rooms but nicely decorated and super clean. Discounted overnight parking just around the corner. We loved our 3-night stay at the Belnord.
This hotel is very basic but is very comfy. The staff have been a great help. They been helping us figure out subways etc and how to get to place. They been very friendly
I would recommend Belnord to anyone visiting Manhatten. The staff was attentive, the rooms were tastefully decorated and it was clean impressively clean (for NYC). The only drawback is the size of the room, which is like staying on a cruise ship. But as long you anticipate this, you will be glad you chose this place.
Some of the front desk staff was nice. Had an updated room. It was small but enough room for 2 people. There was some loud construction that took place but luckily not at late or earlier hours. It was conveniently located to every place we needed/wanted to go. I was there for 2 weeks and Enjoyed my time but would not recommend this as an extended stay option.
